Product Description: Consolidate your audio listening and phone call handling into a single headset with a hybrid headset/headphones unit from Palm. An omni-directional electret condenser microphone lets you speak clearly while the 96dB dynamic receiver helps you hear crystal clear audio from your favorite tunes -- or your phone calls -- in noisy rooms. Plus, the durable, break-resistant cord is designed to last. Meanwhile, a handy push-to-answer button right on the cord means you won't even have to touch the phone to answer a call.

Customer Reviews

3 stars Good
This works as described. The mic works well too. I mostly use for music.

5 stars Use it all the Time
I use these wired headsets because bluetooth is too much a pain in the rear to keep charged and to hook up with my Treo.

When I make calls for work, they must go through and work perfectly every time. I can't afford a bluetooth messing the conversation up.

Having an ear piece in each ear is perfect and allows the call to be loud and clear on my end. Because both ears are occupied, background is not distracting at all.

1 stars Not impressed...
It works fine once you have it on.

It's a hassel to put it on, keep it on, put it away etc.

The length of the left ear cord is unbelievably short and the other one too long.

It gets tangled very easily and the sponges on the ear buds come off easily.

Once you have it on it works great. The sound quality is pretty good and the person on the other end is able to hear me loud and clear with no static or echo.

One more thing that I noticed is that the normal mic and earphone on my Treo 650 stopped working. Which I suspect is more of a Treo 650 issue manifested by the headset.

3 stars Does what it does
These headphones are good for average listening. Not good for you audiophiles. If you want to get good bass and hear the producer sneezing on the track. Get a damn MP3 player. Also, I have a Treo 700wx and the worst thing in the world happened to me. The headphones BROKE INSIDE THE PORT!!! So the phone kept reading it as if the headphones were still in there. Took it to Verizon and they told me to get an insurance claim for $50 to get a new phone ($#!@ Verizon). I took a screw, put it in the port and screwed into the jack to grip it and pulled it out. My phone is fine. I would get another pair because it does what you need them for. Ill just be more careful next time.

P.S. if the plug starts bending... discard immediately, pay $20 and get new ones... just to be safe.

3 stars ear buds are slightly too large making this uncomfortable to wear
the headset does the trick, allowing you to listen to music in stereo perfectly fine on the treo. when you're listening to music and a call comes in, you just have to click on the button that dangles from the headset and it pauses the music and switches over to the call. when you're done with the call, it switches back to the music.

but i agree with all of the other reviewers that the ear buds are just slightly too large which made for uncomfortable wearing and they often would fall out of the ear. the speakers also made of what feels like very cheap plastic
