Marginally Better Than The $20 Remote It Replaced
Highly complex to setup.
Toggle controls on many of my electornic components (eg, on/off, input)greatly complicate setup and limit utility of the remote, particularly the key/central "Activities" function of the remote.
Was able to duplicate remotes for 3 of the electonic components in my TV/Audio syem suffficiently to replace those remotes for most functions - - but my old $20 Universal R5 did about as well.
Could not duplicate my LG DVD/VCR Recorder sufficiently to eliminate use of the decicated LG remote for more demanding functions, like recording.
Setup and setup changes of the Logtech Remote must be done on a Logtech web site. Setup settings are stored on the web site, you are unable to store/save settings independently.
Device has an overlly sensitivity touch screen with small buttons (frequent entry errors), and mechanical controls are also small and hard to push. Does not have a refined feel to my hands.

Only one complaint
I love this remote. It works great with my home theater system, replacing 4 remotes. It is a better buy on Amazon.com, it is $60 more at Best Buy right now. My only complaint is with the set up. I should have read the reviews a little more closely as the issue has been mentioned. If you have a Mac forget downloading the software that comes with the remote and go straight to the Logitech web site and download from there. DO NOT hit YES when asked if you have the 1000 model. This would have saved me about 20 minutes. Obviously, Logitech is aware of the problem, it is #1 on the troubleshooting list. They should add a note to the packaging or something to let a buyer know that this is an issue. It makes an otherwise great buy, very frustrating.

Love it! So far...
I just received my harmony one remote in the mail this week. The process was painless and fast. I opted for the free shipping and it was at my door about 2 1/2 weeks earlier than the expected arrival date. I was very pleased.
Now, to the remote. I read reviews on here where people were speaking of the difficulties of setting up the remote. I figured it would be harder to do than we are led to believe by the descriptions and reviews, but it was, in fact, that easy. It took me no longer than 10-15 to have the remote loaded and ready to go. I did make a wrong selection in the setup, but just hit the help button and it corrected the problem right there. It has worked perfectly since.
My wife loves the remove, as well. I previously had four different remotes to use depending on what you were trying to do. Now she just touches "Watch TV" on the screen and it turns everything on just right. I previously just left the receiver and cable box on all day, every day, because she could never remember what setting the television or receiver had to be on to do what she wanted. Now I can turn everything off, and the remote does the job for her. I haven't had the remote long, but I'm already very glad I bought it.

Remote functions as advertised. It is sweet to be able to turn on all devices and have them go to appropriate settings for the selected viewing activity. Downside is that remote does not get it right 100% of the time. For the areas it is sometimes fails to do, it is easy to program a quick touch button to fix the problem. The remotes help function also can walk you through steps to fix. Depending on the number of devices you own and viewing activities you want to set up, the programming does take some time. You need to learn the nuances of how the programming works to fine tune. At first, my son was very resistant to using...he wanted the old one back. Can't say I have won hime over, but he is comming around.

The easiest, and by far the best product I have ever used!!! Online supported product entry, easy set up walkthrough, and I can't stress enough how EASY it is to use. You will NOT be disappointed in this product but you WILL be impressed!!! Buy this remote - it is worth the money!
