Product Description: The KX-TG9334T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID2 information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9334T also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it's time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please Charge Phone reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Customer Reviews

5 stars Panasonic is the Best
This is my second Panasonic Phone System. My old system is over 5 years old and only 3 handsets. I always thought my old system was top notch until I purchased this one. The DECT 6.0 is hands above over my old system. I'm planing on buying a set for my son this Christmas.
If you are looking for a first class phone system then go with this one.

As always Amazon service is Great!

5 stars Previous phone conflicted with wireless computer..this was the fix.
If you go from wired to wireless for computers, watch out for the possible problems with portable house phones. Our phone voice mail stopped working and connections were not as good. Heard about Version 6.0 for portable phones and after checking features...........this offered the most at the best price and also has received great reviews from others.

Solved our problems and updated all our phones. Buy it...it works!

5 stars Great phones
These phones are great. We don't use the answering machine. The phones have a great feature that indicate if you have a voicemail message. You can then dial your voicemail by pressing one button that dials your voicemail number that you have set up in the phone. The phone has a funny feature that has a talking caller id. We only use it on one of the handsets, as it can be a bit annoying. There is also a night time mode that allows you to turn the ringer off at night on specific handsets.
Another nice feature is the frequently dialed numbers that you set up. Once it is set up on one handset, it is visible to all other handsets.

I highly recommend this phone.

4 stars So good I unplugged my other phones
I talk on the phone for hours a day with a wired headset (I telecommute). All these handsets have a 2.5mm jacks, so I can use the headset in any of the phones. The battery life isn't quite good enough to make it a full day of talking, so I keep two handsets in their bases on my desk.

After using this phone for a while, I unplugged my big serious business phone and just use these. The portability, even around my desk, is fantastic. The handsets are small enough to fit into my shirt pocket and let me run to the door to sign for a FedEx package while I am in a meeting without much disruption.

The range is fantastic. The base station is on the 3rd floor, but I can keep a good signal on the 2nd floor, the 1st floor, and even in the basement. No dropouts, no noise, no cell phone-style "breaking up".

The phone book is shared across the handsets. I don't keep many numbers in it, but it's fine for a few numbers.

The Talking Caller ID is a little silly, I just turned it off. I think it does an admirable job of pronouncing difficult names, though.

I don't use the speaker functionality but imagine it's fair at best.

The menus are OK and not too hard to figure out. As a usability critic, I don't think the UI on the phone is a pinnacle of usability, but it's by no means bad. It's functional.

I was hesitant to buy this set because of the high price, but I have no regrets after 6 months or so.

Update:

After looking at some of the other reviews, I thought I would add a few comments:
- I haven't been able to figure out how to change the volume. Generally it's not a problem, but once or twice I've looked at the handset and thought "where is the volume control?"
- The blinking orange light is definitely annoying--I use this system with a Vonage line, and for some reason the handsets always blinked. I just disabled the blinking light because (1) I don't use the answering machine and (2) I don't use voicemail with Vonage--calls forward to my cell and I get my voicemail there.
- The always-on orange light isn't a problem for me with the handset next to my bed. I've had clock radios that I had to put pillows over because of the light. No problem here.

5 stars Improved technology!
Love these phones - especially the voice that announces all calls! Good quality reception, easy to use, small and compact. An excellent choice!
