MARTINA -- ONE OF THE BEST VOICES
With the exception of one or two missteps, Martina has recorded songs that are energetic, thoughtful and radio friendly. This cd/dvd package does an excellent job of illustrating that fact. She is in fine voice as she performs most of her hits. It is also entertaining to hear Martina share stories and interact with the audience. A must have.

Live CD/DVD is mesmerising!!
I have been to 3 of Martina's concerts and once you see this Live CD/DVD it will be just like you are sitting at one of her concerts. She is truly the best female vocalist in all of country and pop music. Her concerts are absolutley mesmerizing. You NEED to see and hear this Live CD/DVD. Once you do, you will truly fall in love with her and her music!!!!

Beyond Fantastic!
I am 52 and a relatively new Martina fan, having become a fan last year when she mentored on American Idol and sang 'Anyway'. I was BLOWN away.
She is now, by far, my favorite female singer, and I now have all of her CDs.

This concert just confirms what I have come to believe: Martina is the best singer out there, certainly the best power singer. The lungs on that tiny woman are amazing! How does she do it? She deserved every second of that 5 minute standing ovation she got after 'A Broken Wing'.

Her stage presence also impresed me. She had the crowd in the palm of her hand from the beginning to the end. They were mesmerized and at the same time they were all very relaxed and had a ball!

If I could have given this TEN STARS I would have!
I can't wait to see her in concert!

My only complaint is that I was a bit disappointed that only 8 songs were on the CD (2 of them are not on the 20 song DVD).
i would have loved to have all 20 songs on the CD as well. Mayube that can be released as a future album with just the CD?

Martina at her best!
I have seen Martina Mcbride live several times, the one thing that never ceases to amaze me is her live vocals. On record her voice is incredible, to hear her live is something else altogether. "Live In Concert" is a live concert recorded last year on Martina's "Waking Up Laughing" tour. I caught this tour last year, but this is a slightly expanded show. Martina delivers a 2 hour concert with hits and covers. Her covers are interesting, where else do you get to hear classic country, "You Ain't Woman Enough" and "Rose Garden" along side classic rock, "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"?? Martina covers both styles flawlessly. If you haven't seen Martina in concert, catch her next time she's in your area, if you can't do that, pick up this CD/DVD and sit back and enjoy a great show. If you have seen her before, this is a great reminder of how great her shows are. By the way, the CD contains eight live tracks (not studio tracks as this listing makes it sound). Two of the songs are CD tracks only, "From The Ashes" and "Whatever You Say".

MARTINA ROCKS!!!!
The petite girl from Kansas shows why she is the reigning female vocalist in country music. The power of this girl's voice is so unbelievable that you sit there and say HOW is that voice possible?! Martina's vocals are like no other in music. She has the most pure, melodic, and powerful yet not forceful voice hands down in music of any genre. She can rock it with the best of them (Hit Me with Your Best Shot), can get her point across regarding serious issues (Concrete Angel and Independence Day), and can produce the most beautiful ballads (Anyway). Buy this album and you will so not be disappointed!!!
