Customer Reviews
Awesome technology
I love my new Bamboo. I'm writing this review with it and I've had it less than 1 hour.

Not reliable around Wi-Fi
This tablet works very well-- when it works. Unfortunately, probably due to its cheap construction, it has some major issues. The tablet and the pen use the 2.4 GHz band to communicate. This is also the band used by Wi-Fi networks and wireless keyboards and mice. This particular tablet is very prone to interference and tends to stop working at random when there is Wi-Fi traffic. Worst of all, after it stops working, the driver for this tablet on Mac OS X will only pick the tablet up again if the driver is reinstalled; it doesn't seem to know how to recover from the interference. After many times of reinstalling the driver, I gave up on this tablet.
Unless you have no Wi-Fi and no other wireless input devices, skip the Bamboo and go for a more expensive, more proven Wacom tablet.

Wacom Bamboo Tablet
This is an awesome little tablet, and the price was fantastic. It has a nice feel with good control as if you're drawing on paper, and it's also pressure sensitive. I use it with CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, and my embroidery digitizing software. This tablet was very easy to set up and use. As far as receiving this item, it came right away. I think I ordered it over the weekend, and it was here on Monday. Great product, excellent service.

Small surface area, but still pretty useful
I'm an instructor and I use this quite a bit for drawing up concepts for my students instead of using the flipchart. Works great!

Worked for awhile
Bought in April, by August it was flaky. Now, one button does not work at all. Called tech support and the technician was superior and rude.
Might try to send in but can't be without a mouse for 10 - 15 business days (over 2 weeks!)
Wacom used to be a better product. Now, it is cheaper but not as rock solid. My first one lasted for years. Now, they burn out in 12-18 months. too bad.
I think I will explore other brands before purchasing another Wacom.
