Too bad about the speakers
I love mine. The shinny surface is easy to clean. Many adjusments. Easy to set the perfect position. The only flaw is the weak speakers. Even with the volume set at the maximum, the volume is never loud enough.

Awful monitor
After much research, I purchased this monitor. I made the mistake of not thoroughly researching the differences between types of LCD displays. The most color accurate displays are S-IPS followed by S-PVA. The worse are type TN, which will only ever give you just 6-bit color--262,144 colors. Various blending tricks are done to create the illusion that there are more colors, but fidelity is necessarily compromised.

The HP w2007 is a TN monitor and it shows. The colors were washed out and varied widely across the screen. As could be expected from a TN monitor, all the adjustments I made never got the color fidelity to be more than bad. If that wasn't bad enough, you cannot balance both the darks and the lights. For pure game playing, this monitor might be acceptable (though even there, I didn't particularly like it) but is dreadful otherwise.

This monitor is very good.
This monitor is excellent, exceeds my expectation. Built in speaker is so good. It's worth to buy.

Awesome monitor at a great price
We shopped around looking to replace an old 19" CRT Dell CRT monitor. We ended up buying a whole new HP computer. The monitor has excellent color. The DVI cable was included at no additional cost. With the digital video you can't beat this monitor for the price. I highly recommend it. The widescrean is large enough to have two or even 3 webpages open at once. My only regret is that for $30 dollars more I could have had the 22" monitor. One of the negative comments mentioned that the base shakes. It must have been that persons desk because the monitor base is extremely stable and I have had no problems. On this item no body beat amazon on the price. Office Depot, Best Buy forgot about. We used the super saver shipping and had the monitor and the computer in two days. My only negative is that the speakers are useless. If you are buying a new system you are still going to need speakers.

Absolutely AWESOME!!
I actually purchased this item at Walmart instead of Amazon. My monitor died and I needed to purchase one quickly. When I got it home and hooked it up all I could say was WOW! I had a Westinghouse flat panel monitor which I liked, but once I saw the picture and color quality of this monitor I fell in love with it. It goes great with my HP computer. The picture quality on this monitor is just amazing. I didn't realize just how dull the color on the old monitor was until I saw this one.
This is a great buy, and I would highly recommend it. It did take a few days to get use to the wide screen portion of the monitor but otherwise it is fantastic!
