Avg Customer Rating:
Product Description: You could search the four corners of the earth for a stable and reliable power supply, but actually you need to look no further than Antec's TruePower Quattro! It is more compact than most competing power supplies of the same wattage, yet ideally suited for handling the most demanding system specs. TruePower Quattro is designed to meet the 80PLUS certification, which means that Quattro consumes about 33% less energy than many equivalent power supplies with the same power output. Four 12V rails increase your system stability. Comes with four PCI-E connectors for powering one (or even two) of the newest generation of video cards. All modular cables are sleeved and labeled to give your system a clean and professional look-while the racing stripe paint job will add some extra style.

Great little workhorse
Everything is within spec. but the 4 seperate 12v rails make things a little tricky to manage, and the sleeving cuffs used make things REALLY hard to pull apart and modify if you need any type of custom connectors done. Other then that its a good little psu, decently stable and pretty quiet dispite the 80mm fan.

Works great.
This is a great PSU, I've been using it for about a week or so now and no problems at all, powers my two 8800GTX's and my overclocked (about 3ghz) Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor without a hitch. The fan is pretty much silent, although that could be due to the other fans in my antec 900 case covering any noise it might make. The yellow stripes look sweet too. Great buy.

Powers my monster
This powers my water cooled quad core, dual 8800GTS machine with a 500GB C Drive and 1TB raid array, etc. in an Antec 900 case. Some people say Quattro psu's have power problems with the G92 video cards, but I researched it and found the truth.
Voltages are incredibly stable no matter the load and very little heat comes out the back of this quiet psu. I love how the mandatory cables like 24pin (power for your motherboard) and ATX/EPS connector (critical power for your CPU) are hard-wired for maximum power quality. Since I have a SATA DVD, I dont' have to have any ribbon cables(um, like eww...) or molex connectors except the one modular molex cable I cut down to power case fans only. Life is good!

Great while working, now has just died!
I bought this psu because I was building my computer with an Antec case, so i was needing long cables. Before buying this psu i read others web site's reviews about this item, and the ratings were quite goods.
Then, I beleave is fear that I rate it at Amazon. I just shall say that I've been working with this psu without problem, no burned smelling or something like that, very quiet and stable.
It's heavy and, in my point of view has a nice look wint those yellow strips. However, would be better if all the cables were modular.
Finally, I've decided to give five stars because I have no complain.
**** I am editing this because on july 29th 2008, this psu suddenly die while I was watching news on internet. So, I am very disappointed with Antec. It looks like i can't fix the rating but consider 0 star for the item.

Fried some components right away, wouldn't POST
I returned this for refund because it was defective, and the defect was so horrible I did not want to try another one. It almost killed my computer the first time. No thanks! Here's what happened: I thought I'd QC this PSU before using it for a new build, so I hooked it up to my other system to boot it up. The old PSU was completely removed, and the new one hooked up correctly. Everything was triple checked. Well, I turn on the power, and all the computer fans kicked in extra loud and fast, and then my very nice DVD burner made horrific noises and a weird burning smell. I tried some things but the short version is that eventually my old trusty Enermax PSU was back in, my DVD burner was toast and needs replacement, and it's suspect that my trusty PC (ASUS A8V/X2 3800+/Corsair DDR400/X1950Pro) is now flaky from some trauma done by this faulty PSU. It's bad enough if the thing is DOA but when it destroys your computer - costing you more time and money - then it starts to make sense to splurge on the really high-end PSU. This one is around $200 which you'd think meant something good about it's quality but it's apparently a "value" version of other similarly feature-rich PSU out there that cost about $50++ more. I thought, "hey what a great deal" when I bought this. Now I have to spend $40 on a new DVD burner. I don't know what else got glitched either, but my PC has started acting a little buggy since that trauma. I thought I'd use this PSU for awhile till X38 mobos come out and I kick off my new build using this 850W PSU. Too bad it's a POS. Hopefully my PC will soldier on a bit longer, despite recent trauma. Hey Antec, what's up with your Quality Control?
Amazon, however, is great, the return process was hassle free.
PS: So far I've had good luck with my Thermaltake and Enermax PSU's.
