4 stars Parrot Minikit
I enjoy using the Minikit. The controls are easy to use. It even has a volume knob! If you leave your car for a few minutes and come back it gives you a signal to alert you the unit is enabled. If you leave the car for 30 minutes it automatically switches off to save the battery charge. I like it better than my Blue Tooth ear piece.

3 stars The Parrot needs more than a cracker.
I found the MiniKit to have superior sound quality. My wife sounds better on it than when talking on the cell phone. Even with the windows down going about 65 mph, I could still hear her loud and clear without her having to yell. The volume control is as simple as turning a knob. But where this thing falls flat on its face is having the volume knob double as the 'Menu' button. Not to mention that it takes almost 2 seconds of holding the power button to turn it on. That's a long time when driving. On more than one occasion I've turned it on and while trying to adjust the volume, I've accidentally pressed down the volume button (which is how you access the 'Menu') and have turned the knob and the next thing you know all of the verbal instructions from the unit are in French or German or some other language. And if this happens while your driving, there's no way for you to get out of it unless you've memorized the manual. And turning it off, which requires you to hold down the button another 2 seconds and listen for the 'ding dong' sound which means it's turned off, doesn't reset the unit to a default setting. After a few times of this happening you are willing to get the ticket instead of fumbling around with the MiniKit while driving. And finding the on button while driving at night is pretty frustrating to say the least. A quick On/Off button and a separate Menu button would be welcome additions to this unit. But if you can get past those small annoyances then this unit should satisfy you. Compared to the BlueAnt Supertooth, the MiniKit comes in a strong 2nd.

3 stars Difficult to Set Up.
This is one of the most frustrating electronic devices I have ever encountered. The manual's instructions on how to program the MiniKit are kind of vague. There is no email response to help questions, and actually getting the MiniKit to work correctly took me several hours. The only positive comment I have is that the telephone help number in the manual got me back on the right track fairly quickly. The numbers from your cell phone have to be added one-by-one, after the Blue tooth device is connected. In using the MiniKit I found that the volume has to be turned Waay Up, in order to hear over road noise and a/c in the car. Once working it does the job adequately, however, the on and off buttons take some getting used to. At this point I would recommend using your cell phone "hands-free" option and save some money and time that could have been better used.

5 stars Very good bluetooth!
Much much better than a bluetooth that you put in your ear because it just stays in your car. Just get in your car and the device connects! sweet! With the VX8300 the sound is one of the best I have heard and it can get very loud. Oh and the battery life is really good! I have had this unit for like two weeks and have not charged it a second time yet! :) I dought it if you could get anyting better for this price.

1 stars Not so much
The blue tooth speaker was defective.. it wouldn't keep a charge for more than 24 hours. I had to return it. My thought is that it is an older model, maybe on the shelf too long. I will keep looking for a similar product but want to buy it in a brick and mortar store where returns are easier.
