phone announcer
I have used this product for some time, this was to replace one that was ruined by lightning. You can attach your personal announcement to any phone number or let it read out the number. In a large family, this alows the correct person to answer a particular call.

Good & Bad
This thing works good as far as announcing the calling number. However, when you try to use the programming feature it only lets you enter the information for a split second. If you can talk lightning fast you may be able to get in one word.

Caller I.D. with sound
I very much like this product as it performs as advertised. It was shipped in a timely manner too, arriving on 12/24. It was much needed and appreciated as I was unable to find one locally.

Generally good with one defect
I bought this to replace my previous talking caller ID unit which would only talk the recorded name you did for each number.

This unit talks the number or the recorded name you do.

In my old ID unit the mass delete would not delete the numbers with a recorded name. This was logical since you want to always know these names.

In this unit the mass delete does all including the ones you did a recorded name. The workaround is to delete each incoming call you do not want to remember. This is just a few per day so is only a minor inconvenience. You have to be careful to just tap the delete key or it will delete all calls.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
I first heard this in my son's house and I knew I had to have it. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is the brief time that it gives you to record your announcement of the person calling. But, this would not stop me from buying another one. Keep your recording "reasonably" short and you will have no problem.
