An Early Childhood Staple
This CD has so many songs that are favorites of my pre-school students. There are fun activity songs and perfect circle time songs. Hap Palmer's simple, cheerful style creates an enchanting mood for learning and playtime. The CD also offers instrumental versions of all the songs on the album, offering wonderful extension or performance possibilities.

Another winner from Hap Palmer!! I purchased this album after having a great experience with another album for early childhood education, titled "Early Childhood Classics." This CD is perfect for both home and preschool settings, and Hap's fun and creative arrangements are enjoyable for both kids and adults. Some of the songs have a definite "jazz" or "big band" feel, and others swing along with the best of the '50's. A couple even sound a little bit like Howard Jones! I love how Hap uses different musical styles to teach concepts and fun movements, and the melodies are pleasing, singable, and memorable. As a bonus, my kids were totally entertained on our recent trip to San Diego. Now that we're home, they beg for this album daily, and love to act out what the lyrics say to do. Hap Palmer's music is educational, good, and fun, and I agree with another reviewer that those who haven't discovered Hap Palmer are missing out!

Very useful!
If you teach creative movement, this cd will undoubtedly be a staple in your music collection. Great for class or even at home with your kids.

so big
I thought this cd was not bad, there are some great songs to use with your own kids, but I teach a mommy and me class, and I found this a little too repetitive and slow. Nice for really young ones.

Great CD
I wasn't sure if I should buy this CD because there are no samples available, but I did and it turned out to be a good buy. Hap Palmer sings good songs and has a soothing voice. My daughter is 21 months and likes the CD. My nephew is 5 years and loves the song Rock and Roll Freeze Dance. I recently purchased another Hap Palmer CD and I'm excited to hear it.
