Good, but not great
From a musical standpoint, there don't seem to be very many original ideas in this soundtrack: If I didn't know any better, I'd swear Glasgow borrowed a lot from David Arnold, Joel Goldsmith, John Williams, and James Horner (among others). I suppose that if you're gonna borrow, you might as well borrow from the best!
Still, this is an entertaining score that does a lot to enhance what I felt was an otherwise mediocre film. I do like the choral elements, and the use of some nifty percussion. And yes, I did get goosebumps upon hearing the Ulpio Minucci's original Robotech theme in the opening titles!
