Product Description: Tiffany Arbuckle Lee (aka Plumb) is somewhat of an enigma. She doesn't constantly grace the covers of magazines or music trades, yet her art is highly regarded in Christian (and beyond) music circles as both a songwriter and artist. She draws strong vocal comparisons to Dido and Amy Lee of Evanescence, yet it was the latter's own admission that her style is modeled after Plumb. Chaotic Resolve, Plumb's fourth studio release, is yet another outstanding testament to the gifts of this amazing young woman. Proving her lyrical prowess, Plumb aptly captures her essence on "Motion" when she sings, "Do I Make You Feel Uneasy/Do I Break Your Stupid Rule/Cause I Do Not Fit Your Idea/Of A Beautiful Girl." Therein lies the beautiful paradox of Plumb's art; she molds elements of rock, pop, electronica, and metal together and does so while singing about some difficult subjects like physical abuse, alienation, and depression. "I Can't Do This" and "Better" are telling examples with Plumb's edgy rock mixing strangely well with strings from the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Give credit to producer Matt Bronleewe--an original Jars of Clay member, if you didn't know, and a fine musician in his own right--who has worked from the beginning with Plumb, and wraps her music together in a stunning way. For long-time fans, you'll appreciate popish tracks like "Blush (Only You)," "Real Life Fairytale," and "Sleep," which sound like extra takes from the brilliant Candycoatedwaterdrops. The stark and majestically beautiful "Cut" showcases Plumb's wonderful voice, and don't miss how she soars with eagles on this dramatic song. --Michael Lyttle

4 stars Plumb - Chaotic Resolve
This is personally my favorite Plumb album. The lyrics are creative and the vocals are brilliant. One of the best female voices out there. I highly recommend this CD!

5 stars Justin's review
If you are interested in listening to a powerful album you should check out Chaotic Resolve by Plumb. She is one of my favorite Christian female artists.

5 stars "Don't do this, don't do that. You will be, oh so perfect."
I can't express enough how happy I am to have discovered CHAOTIC RESOLVE. I may not be able to compare this album to Plumb's previous works but I am absolutely loving what I'm hearing here. This album is without doubt destined to become a classic in my rather large CD collection. My only regret is not having bought this sooner! (But definitely better late than never.) Plumb had come up in my music recommendations many times before but I never got the chance to sample any of it. However, I finally decided to go ahead and buy CHAOTIC RESOLVE on a whim and it turned out to be quite the gamble.

I suppose the reason I was most reluctant for so long is because of Plumb being labeled as "Christian music". Personally I am not a big fan of religion but I am still a spiritual person and didn't once feel like I was being preached to. The music will appeal to the likes of Flyleaf and Evanescence, catering to fans of the pop-rock/femme metal genre with lyrics that deal with real life issues that everyone can find relatable, such as heartache and depression. ('I may seem crazy / Or painfully shy / But these scars wouldn't be so hidden if you'd just look me in the eye. / I feel alone here, and cold here / Though I don't wanna die'). Singer Tiffany Arbuckle-Lee harkens to such greats as Amy Lee, Suzanne Vega and Leigh Nash but, respectively, still has a sound all her own.

Honestly people, every song here (with maybe the exception of "Pray For Me") is simply amazing. I didn't find myself skipping around like I do with many other albums. Pretty much every song is a winner, but the standout tracks for me would have to be the upbeat "Blush (Only You)", "Good Behavior" (which reminds me of a harder edged Joydrop), the dreamy "Sleep", "Damaged (the extended version)", and the stirring ballads "Cut" as well as "Jekyll & Hyde" which touched me personally.

If your at all into the other bands mentioned in this review, I can't imagine you wouldn't find some sort of enjoyment in Plumb's CHAOTIC RESOLVE. It's truly a diamond in the rough and is deserving of far more recognition.

5 stars Great Sound
I am not a Christian. I do however have quite eclectic taste in music. I first heard Plumb on Pandora. The song "Better" came up based on my other musical tastes, and I absolutely loved it. I previewed the music here on Amazon and decided I must have this album. After buying it, I came back and noticed it was classified as Gospel. Save for the last two songs, I might never have guessed it. It isn't preachy. It's music you can easily love and appreciate even if your religious beliefs are not Christian. I really enjoy it.

3 stars Not as good as past albums
Don't get me wrong; I am a huge fan. I adore Plumb and her amazingly unique voice and style. This was the first album put out by her that I was even disappointed in. While there are a few very nice songs, some which resemble her original cds (Cut, Better, Jekyll and Hyde, Manic, Bittersweet) the rest of the songs have started to resemble pop/dance music(Blush, Real Life Fairytale, and especially Motion), which really disappointed me.

Also, this album put so much more emphasis on Christianity than her other albums which really limits her audience.

It is worth buying for some of the songs, but it is not one of those cds that blow you away.
