Outstanding!!
This is one of the best albums I've ever heard, that that's quite a statement from me because I've been listening to music for decades. At first, I didn't care for Captiva because I was expecting some more of Dawn Escapes. However, it didn't take long for this album to grow on me. I think that Falling Up has grown into a new level of creativity, showing a more progressive direction. While some of the songs on Captiva sound average, most of the selections are absolutely brilliant. This is definitely Falling Up's best work yet.

My 11 year old daughter were driving down the road and heard this great song on the Air1.... my daughter loved it so I bought the CD straight away for her. She plays this CD over and over again!! She is in a time of her life where being a Christian is very low on her priority list so to hear her listening to this CD...Thank You God!!!!

best cd by falling up so far
i love this album. It's like a mix of their fist two but the depth is far greater then the previous albums. It's definetly one of my favorites. The album has an erie feel to it. the first couple of songs are faster and upbeat but then it slowly continues to sadden. It leaves me with the feeling the dark side of the moon left me with and is almost as good. the songs often start out with the piano. then the drum beats come in. The lead singers voice is complemented heavily with the hard guitar sound. The melodies are a perfect blend of hard, sad and soft all in one. Definetly a good buy.

Captivating modern rock
If you are even curious about this band, then listen to the song previews and you'll know right away that this album is a must-purchase. This band is creative, melodic, energetic, with great harmonies, guitar hooks, and inventive rhythyms. It's one of those albums where you hear the first few notes of a song and you say "oh... this is a great song", on one song after the next. The songs vary enough that you never get tired of listening to the album. What more can I say? Buy this album and their others as well!

Stellar
This band has really collaborated a captivating sound. Piano with rock, expiremental sound and creative lyrics. This is my favorite band, you don't have to be a Christian to enjoy and understand it. I recommend this to all the music explorers, you will enjoy what you hear. Rock this.
