5 stars LOVE IT!!!
If you get this CD, you WILL be blessed; they have been a balm to me; There was a song on this CD that I was looking all over for, and yesterday, I was looking for a song ("Do His Will" by the Rance Allen Group), and come to find out, I HAD the very CD myself; oh, what a blessing; So, now I have really wore this CD out since I found out I had it; My favorites is "Counterfeit Religion" by Dottie Peoples, "Drug Me" by the Canton Spirituals, and of course "Do His Will". that whole CD is all that, it will be a balm and blessing to you.

5 stars Praise The Lord...WOW Gospel has returned!!
This compilation is the BEST of the WOW Gospel series in 3 years. Even Zomba thinks so, as the back CD cover says this is the most successful installment. No disrespect to WOW Gospel 2000-2002, but this compilation is just as good as 1998 & 1999 (which I consider the best). Maybe it's because of the quality of artists this past year or something else. The music is funkier, soulful, praiseworthy, and worth repeated rotation.

Progressive/Urban Gospel listening folks won't be disappointed in Disc 1. It alone is worth the price. Too many standouts to name, but 'King of Glory', 'God Has Not 4Got', 'That Ain't Nothin', 'Anyhow', 'Beautiful', and 'Without Him' are my favorites. I can't listen to Disc 1 without playing Tonex's 'God Has Not 4Got' and 'Anyhow' at least twice.

Traditional folks usually got their 'Praise On' with Disc 2. This time around, the titles and tempo are better mixed making for greater continuity. This ain't your Granny's Disc 2 this time and it actually sounds like it's part of the same compilation. 'In The Sanctuary', 'Anthem of Praise', 'He's The Greatest', 'There's Nobody Like Jesus', 'Praise Is What I Do', and 'Glad About It' are my favorites.

My only criticisms are the song editing and selection. They chopped the last 30 secs from Fred Hammond's 'That Ain't Nothin', cutting out a harmonizing-testifying-old school riff of praise. 'Let Us Worship Him' is a great song, however it is circa 1998. Would have rather heard something from her (Yolonda Adams) new album in it's place. Mary Mary's 'Can't Give Up Now' is also a great song, but it's circa 2001. Regardless of this, the album is exceptiontionally well compiled.

2 stars Very disappointed
Never had purchased anything from the WOW series....probably won't purchase another again... I love gospel music, but this is far from being among the best of the best

5 stars Give up the praise!
All phases of gospel are represented. From contemporary, to hand clapping church classics, to old school quartets. All the top gospel songs of the year are on this album. The WOW Gospel compelations just keep getting better every year. I collect each and every one and can't wait til 2004 is released.

5 stars This CD is amazing
From "God has not forgot" to "Secret Place" to "He's the Greatest" this CD is amazing. I've never listened to a Wow Gospel CD where I did not skip over a single song. Songs that you can dance and shout to or sit and relax while meditating to, truly a great buy especially for the price. I think Wow has outdone themselves and finally a CD worthy of the reputation.
