Customer Reviews
looked solid, but only lasted 3 days
product stayed together and actually played iPod well for a few days. After that, it worked sporatically and then not at all. I liked the fact that it would at first hold the ipod up straight, allowing a visual while driving, bugt it eventually drooped like a flower. i would not waste my money on this.

FM Modulators are just bad in sound quality
Mine broke after only a week of use. I still use it but now only to charge my ipod. The FM channels don't come on the display and no signals are being sent. Great for charger and decoration only. Holds the ipod well, but I don't think it is being marketed as a holder. Very unhappy that I threw away the boxes.

Great car adapter!
I love my Belkin Tuner!! I've had it for several months now. It's easy to use & if the channel is not clear, it's so easy to just push the button & find a different one. Many adapters make you search number by number before you can get a clear channel. This is well worth the money!!!!!

Very Nice Unit. Very SLOW Vendor!
This unit worked very well. My daughter had a much older Ipod holder/transmitter which did not have clearchannel and must have had a lower signal strength and this one was a major improvement.
Don't bother to pay the premium for two day shipping. The vendor (not Amazon) uses USPS which guarantees bad tracking info and the slowest possible priority shipping. I was buying for a trip seven days in advance and paid extra for two day shipping. It did NOT make it in time! I ended up paying a lot more for one at BestBuy for the trip. (Now my daughter got an upgrade)
Pros:
-Two preset buttons for best clearchannel finds is nice.
-Presets work just like most radio presets.
-Clearchannel works FAIRLY well.
-Flexible neck and plug are much improved over many others I have seen.
-Plenty of mounting options included for different Ipods.
-Three power settings, but I just go for the max.
Cons:
-Really a con for this sort of device. In a big city, very hard to find a good empty FM band. I drive 37 miles each way to work and MUST switch my band during the commute (Two presets REALLY help)
-Vendor ships slow.
-Two presets not really enough.
-Power still a little low.
-The display takes a while to settle down when I first start it up. Not flashing, just all the segments are lit and it's hard to read which band I am tuned to.
Overall, if you can't hook up direct to your sound system, or you switch cars, this is the best I saw.

A waste of money.
I bought this product after my trust old RoadTrip broke (my fault) after about four years of use. The gentleman at the radioshack recommended it, and figuring that he was an expert on the subject, I went ahead and bought it.
The "clearscan" doesn't work worth a crap. In fact, I can't find a clear channel to use it on. It does help a bit to cycle through the "pro" settings.
Also, I travel alot, and find myself constantly trying to find a new station. It got so bad that I have been using it as just a charger, and listening to audiobooks through earbuds.
I'm not pleased with this product at all.
