If your willing to listen, best band in a while.
Okay now let me explain. Lots of people see something like that and say 'Geese, obsessed fan.' But, when you think about it, Rammstein has shown that their skills as both musicians and lyricists surpasses many others. They show throughout this album (and I suppose all the other ones, too) that they've mastered their instruments. Flawless playing, amazing rythms heavy enough to satisfy any metal fan, synthesizers playing in on songs like Spiel mit mir that are quite eerie enough to satisfy goth fans, or whoever enjoys eerie...
Now, I'm fan of bands like Gojira and Dreamtheater, and they obviously show their mucianship very time they play, but in the realm of songwriting, the skills are a tad lacking. Rythm seems a little off, as if lacking an overall sound in most places. Rammstein may not throw in endless Megadeth-ish guitar soloes, but their songs are structured.
And, for those who really care about what their saying, Rammstein is great band. They manage to fill songs with romance, sorrow, irony, and anger not only through their instrumental playing but through the words, which seems like the easiest task in music. But whens the last time you turned on the radio and a song emotional connected to you? When listening to Sehnsucht, you may come to relate to Till as he sings of longing.
So for people who want to find peoticism, the musicianship

PLEASE...
Please people when you hear the song "Du Hast" IT DOES NOT MEAN "You Hate" instead it means "You Have"! And majority of Ignorant people would know that if they would take a little bit of GERMAN (since thats the language they speak), instead of relying on people to tell them false translations. So next time you want to listen to Rammstein, do yourself and the true Rammstein's fan, take a German Class!

Good German Rock
Well I'm half German so I have every right to review this. Rammstein was the most successful German band in the states since Scorpions. 8I can understand German, but I can't speak it, but I do know Old English, a dialect of German. The throbbing industrial beats, ripping guitar and hate lyrics combine into a powerful sound. Du Hast which You hate me, got some MTV play and broke them in America. They are notorious to being one of the only bands school gunmen Harris and Klebold really did like. That being said, it only adds to the outrageous industrial shock appeal of a band whose novelty wore off quickly but continues to record to success as Germany's premiere rock band.
