Product Description: Since 2002's jaunty Waiting for My Rocket to Come, Jason Mraz has developed into a more mature, well-rounded pop artist. We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things is his most multi-dimensional work yet, covering everything from groove-based material to ballads. While tracks such as "Make It Mine" and "Butterfly" refer back to the catchy style of previous albums, there are many other styles and textures on display here. His duet with Colbie Caillat, "Lucky," for example, explores his folkish, acoustic side, as does the compelling "Details in the Fabric," both of which are excellent songs. Mraz gets a little more experimental on "Coyotes," which toys with a clubby electronica and strangely seems to work, and on "The Dynamo of Volition" for which he employs a hectic, rapping-style of vocal over a typically contagious rhythm. His ballads, such as "Love For A Child", "If It Kills Me" and "Beautiful Mess" (these last two saved for the end) show a more sensitive side and even when his lyrics are occasionally clumsy, Mraz manages to make his point in an emotive way. Easy-going and sunny, but with laudable elements of depth and innovation, this is Mraz at his best so far.--Danny McKenna

5 stars Jason Mraz
I love this CD. I became a fan last year, hearing his music for the 1st time. This new CD blows me away. It is one of the best I have heard in years. I love many different music genres, but this one beats them all hands down.

5 stars Wonderful mix of uplifting and slow and melodic
This is my third Jason Marz album and he just keeps getting better and growing more in his musical style. Some of the outstanding numbers are "Details in the Fabric" and "Lucky" along with the radio playing "I'm Yours."

This album goes from slow melodic tunes, to almost boppy jazzy tunes of the 30's and back to our modern days. I love his range of styles.

Enjoy it yourself.

4 stars Great CD!
Quite possibly his best CD yet. Tracks 2,3,4, and 10 are my favorites, but the whole CD is great.

4 stars Not overproduced but overpoppy! (still good though!)
There are a lot of reviewer that are "MrazHeads" and are disappointed that the album was overproduced. I'm a fan but not exactly that devoted. I thought initially that it was overproduced as well but I take that back now. "Details in the fabric", "Coyotes", "Only Human", "Dynamo of Volition" is probably one most entertaining 4 song stretches in any current album that I've heard lately. The problem is not with the production but with Jason. He is very talented but writes really beautiful songs but also very cheeky and cheesy pop songs and the production just over emphasizes it. I could of done with out the corny "Love for a child" and pseudosensual salsa lite "Butterfly" but from what I've heard of his other albums he always has a good song followed by a cheesy one. Given his tendency to try give his albums depth and upbeatness I actually found this album better than the last. "Coyotes" and "Only Human" I think may actually be some of his best studio produced songs. I think his hardcore following have to realize that studio versions are totally different than live versions.

5 stars Love this album!
I can't stop listening to this album, nor would I want to. His lyrics are amazing. I find myself singing most of these songs in my sleep. There is s song for everyone on this album. Lucky, a song featuring Colbie Caillat, is my favorite on the album. It speaks so beautifully about being in love. With every new album I buy of Jason's, they grow as I grow up in life. Buy it!
