A masterful collection of live renditions
The reviews of this album on Amazon.com seem to fall into two camps. 1. This album is as good as "Solo Acoustic Vol. 1." 2. The first album was better. Hey, it's important to remember that this is an exceptional artist who doesn't repeat himself. Jackson Browne made one of best live albums of all time in "Running On Empty," and then he didn't release another live album for 28 years! We should have had a national holiday this year when he released "Solo Acoustic Vol. 2"!

Great Live Jackson Browne
This is not as good as Solo Acoustic Volume 1....but Volume 1 is probably the best live album ever recorded. Volume 2 is still very good. The songs are great and performed with skill and feeling. The rapport with the audience is the best part of the album. Loved it!!

The Jackson Browne We fell in Love With Years Ago is Back
This is what a singer/songwriter is suppose to do! Perform his work alone on a stage with his own musical instruments sharing a voice that's pure and leaving the audience screaming for more. He sends out story songs that stay with you long after the concert ends. This is the Jackson Browne we all fell in love with many years ago. With the release of these solo acoustical concerts 1 & 2, I'm reminded why so many of his fellow musicians enlist his songs and background vocals in their own performances. These recordings are first class and "must have works" in your library by a splendid songwriter and singer.

As expected top stuff from Jacson Browne
Being a fan of JB I might be a tad partial when it somes to a review. But I was not dissapointed, top music from Jacson again!

Good but not the best
Clearly Jackson Browne is one of America's most important voices in rock music. I liked Volume 1. But Volume 2 doesn't have the same effect. Though Brown'e's sincerity, respect for his audience and ability to connect with us is evident the selections just don't do it for me.
