johnny as good as ever
I own almost all of his music. This cd sounds as good as he was in his younger years.Some singers loose their voices as they age, but Johnny can still hit the high notes. If you are a fan , you will want to own this one.

Better than expected.
Iam giving this one 5 stars for effort.Because of my age group iam very supportive of many of the older artist who have paid their dews.This album represents a decent effort by Johnny Mathis and is worth considering.The performance is good to excellent on some tracks and very nice for most tracks.

It's Johnny Mathis! How can it not be perfect?
Product is awesome. Service sucked. I ordered it 4/29 and it was released 5/6. I was led to believe it would make it for Mother's day. I was wrong. It arrived 2 weeks after Mother's day. My Mom still loved it though. I even bought one for me!

Johnny, where have you been?
This new album is terrific! Every song is "wonderful, wonderful"! I have been a fan of Mathis for almost 30 years and have seen him perform live 5-6 times, he still sounds great. Keep 'em coming, and thanks for having 12 songs on the album, I would love to see him do some more broadway or some redux of his original hits. Buy it, buy it, buy it, "chances are" you will get "misty" all over again!

ageing like fine wine
Wow what a pleasant suprise to hear Johnny sing such beautiful songs,so beautifully.When you hear critcs say that his voice is ageless it seems to be hyperbole until you listen to his voice on this album. His voice is as smooth as silk on the high and low notes. In addition he actually sings better than ever with more pathos than in his younger days.My favorites were the duets with Yolanda adams,Monet and Gladys Knight.The jazz numbers with Kenny G and Dave Koz were also delightful.I,actually liked walk on by very much also. The most pleasureable of all was the Mathis voice with his still silky tenor and that special mathis vibrato.The fact that he is now 72 is really irrevelant.
