Hanuman on the Go
I am thrilled to have this CD not only to have a way to practice and learn the Hanuman Chalisa, but to have this powerful energy for whenever I need it. I love making dinner with it going in the background. I love having the CD cover sitting on the living room table to inspire me. Hanuman is such a champion and thanks to Krishna Das and the gang of singers, he is alive and well in my life!

I LOVE this CD!!!
I bought this for a friend and they sent two by mistake. I ended up keeping the extra one. My first KD CD was One track heart, which, honestly, I didn't like except for the first track. years later I gave him another try after seeing him in person and bought pilgram heart, which I played over and over. surprisingly, I like this CD even better. some of these tracks are amazingly beautiful. the alternative version of the ring song is better, I think, than the one on PH. If you like chanting, BUY this one.

Listening to Hanuman Chalisa is even better than before with this CD!!!
I am born to devotee parents and raised in a spiritual background in a small Indian town where I have heard Hanuman Chalisa from so many different people who speak native Hindi. But this is a true piece of art by someone whose original accent is English.
The way Krishna Das has sung Hanuman Chalisa in this album is so amazing that I must say I have never heard one so good before.

Professional Kirtan with a Gringo accent
Making money chanting God's names. Is it chanting for profit or chanting for grace? On one hand it is good that through these examples more people in the western world can get a glimpse of devotional yoga and chanting. On the other, real Bhakti Yoga is never for profit. It is diffiult to sit through the Hanuman Chalisa and have to bear the pronunciation guide with a thick American accent. Kirtan has never been about sounding good, it is about singing from your heart, no matter how horrible you sing, and never about profit.

A Krishna Das/Chalisa Lovers Delight In A Great Package
The CD KD has been destined to make since he found Maharaji! Great audio quality, terrific liner notes and SIX versions of the Chelisa plus "Where'd You Get That Ring?". And a great pronunciation guide that I've been wanting for years. Jai krishna Das!
