Al Green Lay IT Down, A Must Have
We always bought and will continue buy Al Green. He is an icon in music, he sings with his heart and soul.

Al's Return to Al!!
In recent years Al Green has made some attempts at recapturing the Al Green of the 70's. The previous two Albums I thought showed Green trying to find his way back to that time, trying to find his way back to the formula that made him what he was. Finally on "Lay It Down" Al Green has arrived. One of if not the best soul and R&B album of the year. "Lay It Down" proves that the king of soul is not Legend not yet, he is still to current and is able to reach down through the ages and vibrate your soul. On Lay it down when the chorus keeps in strong for the first time you start swaying in your car wanting to pull over and start dancing with the first person you see. I give it 5 Stars but it is worth so much.

Soul is back!
This is a great mellow, soulful album with wonderful melodies and great guests. A personal favorite is "Stay With Me (By The Sea)" featuring John Legend.

DOES IT GET BETTER THAN THIS?
WOW! Isn't it great that Al Green is still making great music for all to hear. We need him more now than ever. The CD is brilliant and very moving with some great guest artist. Corinne Bailey Rae and John Legend's songs with Al are beautiful. Short and sweet, this is an amazing collection of song sung by the MASTER. How could anybody be disappointed?

Al "lays it down", once again.
I bought this CD for my dad for Fathers Day. I knew he loved the "old School" music of Al Green. To my surpise, I eneded up liking it so much, I bought a copy for myself. This CD is a blend of old school and new school brought together in a way that only Al's spirit could facilitate. Loved by the young,old,and the in between... bringing in new flavors like Corrine Bailey Rea and others. Enjoy this soulful multi-generational intermix.
