4 stars Good Second Album
By no means does Can't Love, Can't Hurt capture the wonderful singularity of All The Stars and Boulevards, but it makes a valiant effort. there is nothing wrong with this CD but... there are no hits on it like "Boston" or "Stars and Boulevards" or "Mayfield" that stand out from the rest of the entirely too short CD. Get if you're an Augustana fan.

5 stars Excellent Buy
Since I haven't heard any mention of Augustana's new album on the radio or other media I felt compelled to write: this is an excellent album! I was a fan of the first album, bought this album on faith, and was not disappointed.

This album makes a subtle shift from the first to be less edgy and rocky, which probably broadens its appeal to a more adult audience. I'm an alternative rock fan but this slight change didn't bother me a bit. The only disappointment was that it only lasts 10 songs. But with that said I'd rather listen to these 10 solid tracks over-and-over than many other albums out there. Buy this album!!

5 stars AMAZING cd from start to finish.
I was a fan of Augustana's last album "All the Stars and Boulevdars" but this cd is so much better. I was a little skeptical at first, but I haven't listened to anything else since purchasing it. There is not a bad song on here. My favorites are "Twenty Years" and "Fire". I would definately recommend it...

5 stars Can't NOT Love
I absolutely love this CD. I have it on repeat in my car and I alternate between this and their first CD on my mp3 player. Every song is solid and could all easily be singles. My favorites are "I Still Ain't Over You", "Twenty Years" and "Where Love Went Wrong" but I truly love them all. Has a different feel than their first album (it sounds "cleaner" I think...) Highly recommended (along with their first album!).

5 stars Diverse musical review
First off, I have a diverse range of music I like. I am a big Insane Clown Posse/Psychopathic Records fan. Some of my other favorite artists include the Wallflowers(alternative), George Strait(Country), Shakira(Hispanic), and Chamillionaire(Rap). I listen to everything, so I tend to think I have quite a ear for good music.

That being said, I loved this album. The only time I ever find new music is by friends putting me on it or me just buying cd of an artist I don't know. I never listen to the radio, nor watch music tv. What drew me to this cd was that there was a sticker on the cover saying they were touring with the Counting Crows, who I am a fan of as well. Anyways, it is very rare to find a cd that you can listen to from beginning to end, but this is one of them. They remind me of a mix of the Wallflowers and Death Cab for Cutie. If you are a depressive person, I think this cd would work for you. It has the songs that fit the mood for when you are at the bottom, but it also has the songs that help you get back up and move on. This cd is a MUST BUY.
