You've already read the features. I just have to say that this DVD sounds and looks beautiful. A real bargain! 6 out of 5 stars!

5 stars Pulsating
I have been an Amazon.com customer for quite some time and have always received excellent service. This purchase was no exception. Produce arrived on time in excellent condition. Everything was as advertised and more.

5 stars Audioquality is amazing
P.U.L.S.E. is the best DVD from Pink Floyd.
If you watch this DVD with Home-Cinema Surround, don't forget to fasten one's seat belt. My sofa start to vibration, it was unbelievable. Never before I saw/heard a Sound like that. It's an absolutely must to have it in your collection.

5 stars thank you a million times!
Finally a quality DVD recording of this tour. Awesome awesome stuff. They did it right.

3 stars Video quality is very poor!
I owned this when it initially came out on VHS, back then I had a 27" tube TV and a basic 4 speaker dolby surround sound receiver. Give the 10 years since, I have lost my copy of the tape and have upgraded to a nice 5.1 setup with a 100" DLP high def projector.

I was very excited to hear the DVD was finally out and I can re-visit one of my favorite live videos of the 90's!

The very first thing I noticed was how pixilated the image looked, I fiddled with the settings on my projector thinking that was the problem.

i then tried watching it on a smaller 42" widescreen and it looked just as bad! The darker scenes, I saw a lot of digital artifacts, for 2004 this was just bad! I felt like I was watching a you tube video blown up on a screen!

That is basically my biggest beef with the DVD, well that and the 4:3 aspect ratio! The footage screams to have a 16:9 presentation.

I understand that the source material wasn't the best to work with, but given the fact that they spred the concert over two disks should have given them more room to work with.

I do love however the 5.1 treatment it got! James Guthrie is an engineering wizard, and the sound does not disappoint.

Granted, this is Pink Floyd Lite and the absence of Roger Waters is felt throughout, and Guy Pratt and his headless bass always annoyed me! But oh well.

Hopefully they will re-release this on Blu-Ray and correct the video quality, this is meant to be seen as clear as possible!
