Customer Reviews

5 stars Rock is back!!
As a lifelong Snake fan, I was both worried and excited to hear the new cd. After one listen, the worry was gone and the excitement was doubled. Coverdale and his gang know how to rock, music is fun again! I think Got What You Want is the ultimate rocker and an instant classic. Hear The Wind Blow rocks and the slower End of Time will be around for a long time. Not any filler going on here. The guitars are smokin' and if you like to have fun listening to music, run to buy this cd and you will not be disappointed!! Can't wait to see them live!

3 stars not as good as it could have been
This is an under-produced cd (both in terms of sound mixing and song composition). The upside is that the sound is warm and muscular. The downside is that the songs aren't as tight as the impeccably-produced ones in slip of the tongue, slide it in, and whitesnake 87. Reb Beach shines when he is given a solo spot, but he is rather out of scale with the less rigorous songs. Not bad at all but not as good as it could have been. The two new cuts in the live cd are stronger than the ones here. This line up needs a very good producer and they need John Sykes back!

3 stars RIP OFF
I AGREE WITH THE OTHER BUYER ! THERE WAS NO SECOND CD AS ADVERTISED ! AMAZON SHOULD TAKE A LOOK AT IT'S OWN LISTING AND CHANGE IT BEFORE MORE CUSTOMERS GET TAKEN !

4 stars God bless David Coverdale
This album is absolutely great. Natural progression from where they left off. At times it sounds a little like Wingersnake due to Reb Beach's amazing but recognizable guitar parts... but this album is a must have. Nothing forced, nothing contrived... just playing it they way they want to... and used to.

1 stars ripp off
There is no second CD, just the first one when you order from Amazon. What a ripp off
