Wonderful recording of modern choral works.
This is a wonderful selection of choral pieces composed by Eric Whitacre. I liked the variety of selections on this CD.

Luminous works, stellar performances
As a person who has been involved in choral singing for 30+ years, I have a particular fondness for a cappella works. The music of Eric Whitacre is both modern and timeless -- filled with lush harmonies and passages that flow from suspension to resolution. This is a wonderful compilation.

Beautiful!
I cannot believe this is a University choir! Their rendition of "When David Heard" is so amazing, it brought tears to my eyes. A great buy, Eric Whitacre is simply genius at innovation.

Eric Whitacre writes beautiful music and this CD is filled with beautiful voices. Turn it up really loud!

Dr. Ronald Staheli and the Brigham Young University Singers are untouchable: definitive versions of Eric Whitacre's choral works 1991-2001 gloriously sung. Moving and heartachingly beautiful. Enough said.
