2 Songs Missing
This CD is great but is missing two songs from the original cassette tape--"Train Song" and "Light and the Eye". Where did they go?

Great Deal
You get two treasures for the price of one. A must have for your collection!

Ah Nostalgia!
How amazingly wonderful to be taken back to the early 80s, when just "coming out" and falling in love. This is the album that will bring back the giggles, induced by the clever and witty lyrics of the artists. But above all else, Meg and Chris have a glorious blend of harmony in their duets. YUMMY! I recommend this for any woman, young or old, to celebrate the early days of women's rights and/or discovery of one's self.
TERRIFIC!

Like meeting an old friend...........
This album makes me laugh, makes me cry....the same as I did in the '80s when I first heard it. It is such an important piece of music to me as a woman, and I am so grateful to be re-introduced to it through the gift of the CD from my daughter. It was a most special birthday gift.
This pulls together some of the greatest Women's Music from the 1980s and celebrates the accomplishments of these two artists in getting to Carnegie Hall.
Cris keeps on making albums and is currently doing her 30 anniversary tour of this album.
And Meg....Meg, I miss you.

Still a great blast of joy!
Ok so first of all, I'm a straight female... and this music is for and about 'women'... on the surface. But at a deeper level, the quest women undertook to come out of the closet as lesbians, is about the bigger process of humans in the process of expanding humanity. I loved this music the first day I heard it in the '80s in a health food store in Vermont, and now, 20 years later, even after so much blessed evolution of humanity and women and lots of other good stuff (thank Goddess!), this music is sill just as powerfully vibrant, full, rich and beautiful. Crank it up and let the goosebumps drive you into your own version of nirvana! Thank you Meg and Chris and all of you Beautiful Souls, for bravely and wonderously and lovingly opening up the world more for ALL of us humans-becoming-human. Namaste!
