The Barry Sisters are pretty good on this but the selections are mostly 2nd rate. They have better material - why isn't "Yidl Mitn Fiedl" on this?

this cd contains not all their best songs like koifchen papirosen,mien shtetale Beltz , aidishe mame and more,otherwise it's good.

Enjoys old Jewish Songs
This CD is very enjoyable for anyone who enjoys the old Jewish Music. I had this album in a record and wanted these songs on CD. I found it very entertaining.

my dad is a real fan of jewish music... the kind that used to be performed in the borsht-belt in the catskills. he used to have this album on vinyl and asked me to see if any of the barry sisters albums were available on cd. it looks like this is the only one that is available. he was thrilled when i got it for him and it's in his heaviest rotation!
