One of Peter White's Best
Smooth and relaxing are the two words that I can best use to describe this CD. I own several Peter White CDs and this is one of my favourite. There is not a single bad track on it. It has a nice variety of tempos and rhythms. There is a slight Latin feel on many of the tracks that just adds to the variety on the tracks.

This is simply an excellent addition to any smooth jazz collection. His CD's "Glow" and "Perfect Moment" are also very good choices with similar quality and feel.

Relaxing Pablum for the Dental Chair
I don't know why people insist upon calling this "Smooth Jazz"--there is nothing jazzy about Peter White or this CD. It is bascially acoustic guitar in an echo chamber with an under-mixed drum trap set. Don't get me wrong here, the music is good, but it basically the Gypsy Kings on qualudes.

Yes, the first 3 tracks feature an actual jazz musician, Boney James, which are "Caravan of Dreams", "Together Again", and "Venice Beach" but the best sounds are just Peter White with his guitar in the echo chamber and a drum machine, playing music for the dental chair--"City of Lights"

If you are looking for a jazzy sound of smooth jazz with the typical R&B song put to an instrumental interpretation, do not buy this CD.

But if you looking for relaxing pablum, this is CD is for you.

Perfect
I can listen to a countless number of smooth jazz cds and still be entertained. Many cds sound alike, however this one sounds slightly different. The sounds are diverse, and are not completely linear(the same thing over and over again). The first song, Caravan of Dreams, is great. I enjoy City of Lights and Long Ride Home just as much. The other songs are good too. Each song stands out, but those three are worth the price of the cd alone.

I never go on any vacation without the song "Caravan of Dream" loaded in my mp3 player. It's one of the most joyful song.

Smooth Jazz at Premium Class
Listening to his music it's a true enjoyable moment.
The dynamic rythm show his own premium class.
Last the only thing that I miss from this CD is the recording quality. I wish they will launch the SACD or XRCD version very soon so we can enjoy with good high-end setup.
