Ladytron!!!
This CD is wonderful and the group brings a new fresk sound the the airwaves. I first saw their videos on German tv. Now I have all their cds and give each 5 stars!

retro electronica that's not dated
This is a very well produced album with some real creative spirit. The instruments they use are basically antiques, but this is not a gimick - it seem to lend a smooth undercurrent to the vocals. I can pick out influences of Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, but not quite as experimental for experiment's sake.. The album's a few years old now but the sound is much older, almost new wave. I'm sure I'm not the only one with a tough time classifying this - and that's a good thing.

Not worth it
I bought this CD because I didn't mind the "Witching Hour" album. "Light and Magic" did not meet my expectations- the songs weren't paced enough for my liking. The album gets 1 star for the "Seventeen" song.
If you're looking for an electronica band that is paced well and instrument-rich, try Lali Puna.

Great, but not better than their debut
This was my first Ladytron album. While I find it kinda boring compared to "604" it's still a great album to crank up every once in a while. Some of the songs tend to stand out more than others. Some songs are more redundant than others. However, this album still rocks with some of it's catchy vocals and beats. Buuuttt... I could never get into "Nuhorizons" very much.
