Enjoyed the DVD; Disappointed with the CD
Okay, first I will say that we REALLY enjoyed the DVD. We had not seen that particular act before. It was very funny.
Now as for the CD, well, I am disappointed in Amazon because NO WHERE in the product description does it state that this CD has explicit content. When I got it in the mail the CD had a PARENTAL ADVISORY label on it that shocked me. Since we own Beyond the Pale and love it, I figured this one would be fine. Nope. I debated about opening it. I really considered returning it. But, I ended up opening it and listening to it. I lost count how many times he drops the F word. I guess the other material I have heard from him must have been edited - either he held back due to the audience he was playing for or the people putting out the material edited it. I would never have purchased it if I had known what the content was. I feel like I was tricked.

One Of The Best Comedians Out There
This is one of those things you throw on when you need to come out of a funk; Always funny no matter how much you hear the material. I am not huge on most comedy albums, but to hear Jim ramble on about hot pockets and being lazy is a pure joy. From guys drinking KFC gravy to his umbrella theory, this CD is packed wall to wall with great, fresh material. While not for everyone(he has a style you either like or you don't...), those unfamiliar w/him should check it out...Plus the bonus DVD of his first Comedy Central concert and other stand up routines is priceless. A great deal too! Pretty much timeless material. I could relate to much of what he was talking about. I think he is one of the funniest guys out there!!

VERY Funny!
I wasn't really familiar with Jim Gaffigan when I made this purchase. The reviews were right on. This guy is very funny while keeping it relatively clean. Very talented. It appeared as if there was only an audio CD included with the purchase but to my surprise, there was also a DVD.

Great turnaround
Product showed up before I ordered it (well, it almost seemed that way: incredible turnaround)! Now that's service. And if it's Gaffigan, it's got to be funny. Thanks!

He is just as good as Brian Regan. If you know your comics then you already have this cd bought.
