Very helpful
I have not tried meditation for weight loss before, so this is my first attempt using meditation with a guided CD. I find the CD to be very helpful. I get anxious when i'm confronted with food, which often sabotages me more than anything else. This CD helps me relax, by listening to it before i'm confronted with a lot of food. The one line sayings in each meditation stick in my brain, and I definitely find that I am more mindful of what I eat. It helps me feel more in control. Meditations are easy to listen to, and most are relatively short for someone who is busy. Even the 6 minute meditation is very helpful, and even the busiest of people should be able to fit it in. It was very relaxing and I come out of it feeling refreshed.

Allen Holmquist's MEDITATIONS FOR WEIGHT LOSS is a wonderful tool to be used in conjunction with relaxation and weight loss theraphy. Mr. Holmquist has a very convincing, soothing voice and this CD was just what I was looking for. As everyone knows, diets don't work so we have to work on feeding our hungry minds and emotions as much as what we put in our mouths. I listen to this tape every morning before I begin my day and it is puts me in such a great mood and relaxes all my tensions away. Meditation should be an integral part of all of our lives but so often we can't afford or don't have the time for personal hypnosis theraphy on a regular basis. This CD gives you all the tools you need to get to that subconcsious place you want to be. Every day of my life someone told me I wasn't OK in some form or another because I was fat. I am now reprogramming my mind to accept a new way of thinking and living--without negativity! Thank you, Mr. Holmquist, for helping to improve my life. "When the student is ready, the teacher appears." You will not be disappointed in this CD.

Very Relaxing, After just 1 week I want to play it everyday!
This is a very relaxing and soothing cd, all the music and words make perfect sense on how the innerself thinks and feels. It makes the thought of loosing weight just a little more enjoyable..actually a lot more enjoyable......a must to try.....Only one place i felt needed work was the very first of the cd could have used just a little bit more introductory music before the meditation of words begin.
