Music to soothe the savage beast!
Very relaxing and enjoyable collection of instrumental music. At low volume you can easily fall asleep to it, but is also great to listen to at louder volume when up and around the house. Good variety of instruments and beats. Not at all boring which some relaxation music can be. Well worth the money for 2 CD's full of interesting New Age type music.
I checked out the microphone drop sound in song 6 of the 1st disc just as the song was ending which a previous reviewer mentioned. It seems to me more likely a microphone was brushed against while recording. I can't see how it could be actually dropped and no one noticed.
I thought it was background thunder which is sometimes added to relaxation music, but now that I listened to it again after reading his review it's probably not thunder. No big deal though, it's not at all jarring. I'll just keep pretending it's thunder in the background during the few times that I actually would notice it. I have a whole set of relaxation albums (CD's) with thunder all throughout and love to listen to them as a "pick-me-up" :-)

ERRORS ON RECORDING
On the track See, My Love - Andreas Vollenweider, near the end of the track there is a very noticeable error in recording, sounds like a microphone drop, several times and is loud and destroys the quality of the recording.
I have heard of scratches but not microphone drops....maybe just my copy
maybe not, otherwise the album was perfect. In addition the album cover correctly lists (spelling) the artists name, but on the cd as it shows the tracks on my pc, that track shows a mistyped name for this artist. Unusual....
