very relaxing and realistic
I began listening to nature sounds CDs about a year ago because I was having anxiety problems. SEA AND DOLPHINS is now one of my favorites. Whenever I play it I feel much more relaxed after a few minutes of listening. I wondered if I would like listening to dolphins, and I do quite a bit. The effect is very similar to hearing birds in my opinion. However, there's really more wave sounds than dolphin sounds on the recording. One reason this CD is one of my favorites is that it sounds as though it's a continuous recording, and not moving around to various locations or recorded at different times as many nature recordings sound. Maybe this really was recorded in different areas or times, but was edited well enough to sound continuous. A second positive is that the sound quality is very good, and is unusually realistic, with no annoying anomalies that I've noticed. I'll definitely be looking for more "Sounds of the Earth" nature recordings.
