Product Description: A greatest-hits package sampling four Enigma discs released between 1990 and 2000, LSD splendidly documents the influential output of Michael Cretu, a techno-bohemian who successfully creates cinematic, otherworldly New Age-like musical suites. Now, more than a decade removed from the arrival of Sadeness (Part 1) and its eyebrow-raising mix of sacred and sensual subplots, people can debate whether Cretu's music represents savvy commercial calculation or satisfying art. LSD suggests a split decision, though tracks with intriguing blends of atmosphere and rhythm, such as "Gravity of Love," "T.N.T. for the Brain" and "Morphing Thru Time," reveal an inventiveness that demonstrates Cretu is capable of more than sophisticated novelty tunes. Two new songs, neither especially noteworthy, open this package. Meanwhile, remastered older tracks segue beautifully to exude a satisfying, seamless unity. Big bonus: run time exceeds 76 minutes. --Terry Wood

5 stars excellent!
Quality, service, and quick delivery. What more could anyone want?
Thank you for the excellent service!

5 stars If you ever liked Enigma, just order this one.
Well, it's a CD full of music from Enigma as written by Michael Cretu. So, if you always hated his use of chant, or his wife talking over the sounds, don't buy it. But, if you have ever wondered what else Engima wrote other than popular tunes like Mea Culpa or Sadeness, this CD is full of truly wonderful music - especially lesser known cuts like TNT For The Brain, Modern Crusaders or Principles of Lust. Cretu mixes sounds like no one else and the result is almost completely mesmerizing and alive with his view of life. This one is probably one of my top 3 of all time and I'm a Boomer.

4 stars painful
I have long been a fan of Michael Cretu's breakaway music format and it is always a breath of fresh of air. It's always good to listen to Enigma when hit with the intensity of today's music scene.
The playlist is pretty much on par on what I would have expected from a compilation.
BUT! Where is "The Child In Us" (from their juggernaut 3:LE ROI EST MORT, VIVE LE ROI! album)? It is by far Enigma's most inspirational song. This album missed the boat 18 times to put this masterpiece of recording on the album. To me, "The Child In Us" in a nutshell represents what the Enigma project aimed to do. It may sound like I'm finding some way to nitpick, but that song *has* to be on the album for it to be "Greatest Hits".
My advice is to buy the digital download of this album and then buy the MP3 of "The Child In Us" And burn yourself a master CD of this compilation. Then it will truly be Enigma's "Greatest Hits".

5 stars timely turnaround!!
I am enjoying listening to the Enigma Sadeness Part 1 cassette. I heard it on a local smooth jazz radio station, and determined the name from their website, but did not think I would be able to locate a copy of it. I was very very surprised that I was able to buy the cassette, and the delivery time was excellent. Thanks to Amazon, and the seller.

5 stars Mostly the best
The Best o' Enigma. My only complaint is the glaring omission of "Why". From day 1, Mike "MC" Cretu captured me with this weird combo of club dance/religious/whatever music. If you are new to Enigma, pick this up. If you are familiar with Enigma, pick this up. It does not disappoint.
