Very Touching Song
You can either find "Landslide" on 'The Dance' album or buy this single.Stevie Nick's coming of age/irony of age prose is breathtaking and it has to be one of the many Fleetwood Mac triumphs. The song structure works on so many levels-as a folk tune, ballad or a big orchestral type tune. And the lyrics are genuinely thought provoking. How fitting after years of being away from the scene this group could again come up with such a triumph!

Awesome mixes of this classically **Fleetwood Mac** song
If you aren't a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks, but like a few of the singles they have released over the years....why not just get the single? The additional 2 mixes of Landslide are very cool and very much worth the cost of the CD even if you are a FM/SN fan because they aren't available all on one album anywhere else. Plus, as a nice little bonus, I thought it was nice how the CD came in a sturdy cardboard CD cover type case (not just a weird cardboard envelope likes some CD singles do...).

AMAZING!
Amazing how modern this classic song sounds when re-mixed with new backing instruments and a neat drum loop. However, the original vocal is the same...amazing again how it blends well. This song deserved major airplay in this format..unfortunately I never heard any of the remixes on the radio. This is a must have for FM and Stevie fans and anyone looking for classic lyrics and nice music.

Landslide Is Classic Prose So Beautiful It Hurts
If you've seen the VH1 Storytellers you are familiar with the circumstances leading up to the writing of this song in Colorado. Stevie combined multiple layers of imagery here. The words and music don't need too much explanation. A must have.

Live Track is Great; Remixes are So-So
The first track on this maxi-single captures a relatively recent live performance of "Landslide" and Stevie offers a strong performance of this classic Fleetwood Mac tune. Unfortunately, the remaining remixes on the maxi-single are rather dull. A better approach to this maxi-single would have been to include the recent live version with the original version of the song and maybe one or two other more creative remixes. Unless you are obsessed with "Landslide," buying "The Dance," which includes the first (and best) track from this CD single and other live songs from Fleetwood Mac's recent tour would be a better investment.
