Truly Great 90s Music
The song Don't Walk Away is truly great, THEE most totally 90s song there is. It's like A Mighty Fortress is Our God, the stuff we sing at church. Catholics love dark things because they were just as ghetto, they were born into big city slums. We have Cathedral Christ the King and Pilgrim Lutheran church right next to the other where I live in downtown Superior, which are essentially the same thing repackaged. To be Catholic you have to be born into it, that's why we can relate to this ghetto stuff and the darkness of it. I love the crap out of Don't Walk Away, it's easily my favorite song. I saw it at a store and it reminded me of the 90s, I just had to get it it rocks. Catholic- we'll rock you.

Great Album
When I saw that Amazon had Jade's debut album on CD, I had to buy it. I had it on cassette originally but no longer have any thing to play the cassette on. Anyway, Jade was one of my favorite groups during the 90's when girl groups like SWV, TLC, Xscape, Black Girl, Brownstone, and Zhane hit the charts. My favorites on the album are "I Wanna Love You" , "Don't Walk Away", and "Looking for Mr. Do Right". The singers have excellent harmony and can really sing! The songs are really catchy! I was sorry that they split up because I thought they were one of the better girl groups.

These Ladies Can Sing!
What a talented trio. Di, Joi, & Tonia have soul. The music proves it. Just take a listen and you'll hear the early years of hiphop r&b. If you like this cd then you will also like the BET's Listening Party cd featuring JADE LIVE!!!
Joi has released a solo cd in 2005 and she sounds great. It is her debut as a solo gospel artist.

Jade to the Max
This group was at the forefront of the reinvigoration of the "girl group" and this, their debut was fantastic. Outstanding "new jill" r&b mixed with two outstanding remakes of classic songs by another outstanding r&b trio, The Emotions pushed this album to gold status.
The standout tracks to me are:
DON'T WALK AWAY - great lead off single, still a hot joint to this day
I WANNA LOVE YOU
THAT BOY
ONE WOMAN
LOOKING FOR MR. DO RIGHT
DON'T ASK MY NEIGHBOR
BLESSED
Although a couple of the tracks sound dated, overall this is an excellent debut from a group that sadly didn't have strong enough material on their sophomore disc to lengthen their career past two albums.
