Customer Reviews
Oldie but goodie
I bought this CD specifically for the a couple slow songs that I absolutely love on this CD. The reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because I used to own this on cassette back in the day, and I guess I used to only listen to the side with slow jams on it, because when I got the CD I did not recognize the first several songs on this cd, and I also didn't necessarily care for any of them. Nevertheless, the slow songs that I do like on this CD (and I mean, I like them ALOT) makes the purchase worth it.

They don't make em like they used to @}->---
This is the best kind of r 'n b. It's slow and sexy and romantic. Aaron Hall does a superb job here. I love When You Need Me, Let's Make Love and if you've ever seen the videos to these songs, they make them complete. He sings so soulfully and sensually and this is bedroom music at it's best. It's the 2nd cd of his I have and I want to get more. I love him and his voice and don't listen to the negative reviews - this is a fantastic album that you need to own. It's all, ALL good.

Vocally this is who R.Kelly wishes he could be
Aaron Hall led Guy there first two albums with his Charlie Wislon esque vocals. Aaron was in top on the ballads Let's Chill, Goodbye Love, Piece Of My Love and Yearning For Your Love. Much to the dismay of myself and many fans, Mr.Hall was overshadowed by R.Kelly. Any avid music listener nows if you listen to his Born Into the 90's albums he sounds just like Aaron. Aaron is in top form on the ballads Let's Make Love, When You Need Me, Don't Be Afraid (Sex You Down Version) and the huge single I Miss You. For good quality R&B,check this album out.

An underrated masterpiece
The truth is a New-Jack masterpiece too often underrated by many. The up-tempos are super-groovy and it was, for me, in this direction that R&B had to go. Sadly, for Aaron, the slower (and for me, boring to tears!) hip-hop soul of Sean "Puffy" Combs and R.Kelly were going to dominate the charts from 1994 until now. I hope in a come-back of a more funky and up-tempos oriented R&B. Aaron Hall could be one of the major influencial singer for the future singers and producers...and by this way come back to light again.I love you Aaron. You're the best R&B singer.
