The Definitive Collection of Bobby Brown!
Ok, I did not order this one from Amazon I picked this one up in the store. But, I came to Amazon to check out his new book that I heard about on the Doug Banks morning show. Anyway, this cd is really good because it captures all his hits which are all packed into this one cd that makes for a few hours of good listening. If you are a fan of Bobby Brown then this cd is a must for you to pick up. Yeah, Booby has been through a few things in his life but who doesn't have issues? In my opinion, the cd is hott. But as always...YMMV! NEOSOUL06

the long drug addicted saga of bobby brown is finally coming to the end we all crave anyway if you're his fans you can cop this and reminisce about how good he was back in 88-89 only liked about 2 of his songs in his cracked out career well anyway farewell bobby we'll rememberr the drug busts and the arrests and the long rehab stints burn in hell and don't worry whit will be right behind you and I pray bobbi christina never gets hooked on crack me and ny crew will serve her right.

Pretty Darn Good
Bobby Brown has always seemed a bit poppy for my liking but this cd is a compilation of his best stuff and it goes off! It's not too heavy but still rocks with solid beats like Don't Be Cruel and My Prerogative. It has too its playful songs like Every Little Step. A good mix of pop and rnb, I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to just have a good groove with a good vibe.

Bobby Brown once upon a time was a happening cat. too bad it seems like a lifetime ago because these cuts are still Slamming.Bobby should still be making records as to being seen as a Artist past his time. all the Big time cuts are on here.

Wonderful collection!
This is far better than Greatest Hits that came out on MCA in 2000! They dug deeper to find Bobby Brown's best songs. Yes, the album songs, but his songs with New Edition, Glenn Medieros (where is he now?), Ja Rule and Whitney Houston. His duet with Whitney, 1992's Something in Common is very funky and probably might have encouraged Whitney to get out of big ballad hell a little bit for her 1998 album. The Glenn Medieros dance heavy song has more meat when Bobby hits his raps in the middle. Bobby's own hits of Don't Be Cruel, Prerogative, On Our Own, Get Away, Humpin Around, That's the Way Love Is, Feelin' Inside, Roni, Rock'Wit Cha and others still hold up today with their funky grooves and smooth feels. Even Bobby sounds strong on Ja Rule's song, a smart mix of Ja's macho rapping and Bobby's superb singing in the same song. It matches quite well with Bobby's bad boy image. I'd rather hear Bobby's music than his troubles with the law. He's currently recording a new album and I can't wait to hear how that sounds! I think he's hungry to get back out there while we listen to this wonderful collection of hits. It took a reality show to get his name back out there, but it will take his music to get Bobby Brown back on top again!
