Do NOT ignore this album!!!
This is an important album! Do NOT ignore it. It is a gem that needs to be heard. The very heart and soul of Pat Dinizio, New Jersey's legendary songwriter, are contained within the lyrics of this album. It is his Pet Sounds. Hear the heartbreak, the joy,the wistfulness. Hear the ballads and the rock! You can not help but feel each and every emotion that Pat sings about. Like a great book whose story captures you and brings you into it's world, so too does "Pat Dinizio" bring you into the world of each song.
Indeed not only does Pat sing of his heart and soul but he also sings of yours. More so than his other solo albums, THIS album is the one that shines and illuminates the fantastic songwriting of Pat Dinizio. The man can craft a song like no other.
Buy it. Listen. Believe.

Another great album
This was a pleasent little surprise to be released this year. Featuring many of the tracks from his self released Double CD/DVD Revolutions, this self titled album has the great tracks Wonderful, Any Other Way, Dear World, and Sometimes, all well polished an rehearsed, classics already for smithereens/dinizio fans. The opening track since you went away, and second track night without sleep are both slower, and different from what I was expecting in the blend of this album, but are good in their own way. Overall, worth picking up if you did not land a copy of Revolutions. A must have for a Dinizio Fan.

Pat DiNizio writes songs that'll stick to you!
With the Smithereens, Pat has created memorable songs including "Behind the Wall of Sleep", "Only a Memory", "House We Used to Live In" and "Blood and Roses".
The Smithereens' recent success covering "Meet the Beatles" highlighted their well-established credentials as a great band. Now Pat hits us again with a solo album of new songs.
I've find myself humming, whistling and singing "Wonderful", "Dear World", and especially "Any Other Way" constantly. Great songwriting, great production, great vocals.
This is a great album!
