5 stars Great with Blackberry Pearl
My first Bluetooth headset was a Motorola H700. It was very hard to hear, and callers complained they couldn't hear me(I use it in my business so I use it all day). Also had poor reception and no distance. The Plantronics 510 has solved all my issues. Clear, loud, no complaints from callers, and I can walk away from the phone. No bad reception, no issues. Note that the ear bud actually goes in your ear, vs the Motorola that goes over your ear. This reduces noise problems immensly, but after 4-6 hrs your ear might itch!

5 stars I have three different headsets. This one is my favorite!
Yes, I have three headsets. I have two for the car, and one for use in the house. I chose to put the best one, this one, in the car along with a second cheap one, as a backup. I'm terrible at remembering to charge these guys up! And I'm too cheap to purchase a car charger...

This is really a great headset. I've never had a problem with people not being able to hear me and it's very comfortable to wear. The battery lasts a long time, which is one reason I just forget to charge it. Once the battery dies, I use my backup headset until I charge up my favorite!

The other headsets are cheapy models I've purchase on amazon when they were a Goldbox deal, and those are also good. They were around $10 and work fine. They just are not as comfortable to wear and the sound quality is not as sharp, both for me and for who I am speaking with. If I wear the cheapy ones for more than 15 minutes, my ear will start to ache a little. I can wear this one all day if I wanted to and it wouldn't bother me at all.

I would purchase this one again FOR SURE. I've had mine for about 18 months and I'm sure at some point I will trash it and need another. I'm really happy with this headset.

4 stars The best bluetooth headset for your money; but a bit overrated
Having been a fan of the Motorola H700 series; I decided to take a stab at this new and highly rated headset.

Here are my findings:

Pros:
1. Long battery life
2. Easy sync with cell
3. Wind-reducing material to cover microphone.. essential
4. Fits on both left and right ears equally well
5. Various sized earpiece inserts for a custom fit
6. Microphone sits AWAY from your cheek.. thus preventing a muffled voice (this was an issue with the Motorla H700)

Cons:
1. Large size. This becomes a problem for us EYEGLASS folks. The back portion of the headset is so large that it makes it difficult to maintain a proper fitting (especially if you wear thicker plastic glasses)
2. Power button is inconveniently located. IOW, it is best you turn on the headset first AND THEN put the unit on your ear. Maybe this is being picky.. but heck.. the Motorola H700 turned on when I flipped open the microphone boom.
3. Unique power adapter. I wish they could just use a USB adapter.. something more universal.

My issues with the H700 were that it was a bit too floppy. Nothing to stabilize the unit as there is for the Plantronics model (earpiece adapters that fit in your ear help to stabilize the unit on your head/ear). Also the muffled voice issue. The earpiece mic sat right on your cheek... not good. I loved the fact that this model was so small and that it turn on via flipping the mic boom. However, its smallness was the cause for the mic's demise--- it was thoroughly cleaned in the wash by accident :-/

In a nutshell. If you are in the market for a bluetooth headset, the Plantronics Voyager 510 the model to purchase.

5 stars Great headset!
This is a great headset. It fits snuggly around the ear and the earbud fits inside the ear--it doesn't just hang beside your ear. This is my third Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset. I like it so much I keep buying the same one. I'm sure I would still be using my 1st or 2nd headset had I not washed and dryed them.

5 stars Fantastic headset
I've been using the headset now for just over a week, and it's absolutely fantastic. Granted, this is my first Bluetooth headset, so I can't give a comparative analysis, but I can say it's a great product in its own right.

Setup was a piece of cake. I paired it with my Samsung A90 phone without any issues. I was easily able to find the eartip that fits best out of the three included. The controls work fine, and the audio quality is great. So far, nobody has even realized I'm talking into the headset rather than my phone.

I'd say something about the battery life, but it hasn't run down yet in a week's worth of use! I've spent just a few hours of talk time during that week, but the fact that it has handled standby for so long without a recharge seems pretty wild to me.

Bottom line: the headset is inexpensive, light, comfortable, easy to set up, and provides great quality audio. I didn't expect anything this good, but I recommend it highly.
