Customer Reviews
MF5770
Things I wish were better with the MF5770:
1.) A seperate tray for Letter and Legal Paper.
2.) The error setting and requirement to change paper if a Legal document is sent to the printer when it is configured for Letter leaving the printer useless until you reconfigure it and change paper. A real pain.
The rest of the functions of the MF5770 seem to function as advertized.

Great All in One Printer at a GREAT price
Great Laser printer. Fax works well with good features. Copier with document feeder works very well. Scanner works well, but must use USB cable for scanner - not network capable. All other features are network ready. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great printer!
We started using this printer about a month ago and have not had a single bit of trouble with it. There have been no papers spewing out on the floor, no paper jams, and no error beeps that can't be turned off. It prints clearly, quickly, and quietly. I would recommend this printer to anyone!

Well designed all around document machine
I brought this for my parents who don't have a computer or need a fax, they just wanted a copier. I set it up and they have been using it daily for several months and made at least a thousand copies. No problems, the imaging is good and the ink lasts (they changed the cartridge once).
From that I can recommend it as a copy machine.

Amazing Printer
I bought this product 3 months ago and have been using it ever since. It is absolutely amazing because it works flawlessly; prints pretty fast, copies are clear; faxes well (I have sent faxes but have not received any - need to read the instructions on how to receive them b/c they were not coming through - I think it was b/c I had to program my home phone # to the machine or something) and the scanner is descent (scans the images pretty clearly). I researched for quite a long time for a laserjet printer and this one to me is the best choice in terms of price (Under $200); printing capability (approx 2,500 pages per cartridge) and the cartridges are relatively cheap $70.00 as opposed to other ones that are over $100.00. I really don't care for color so this machine is perfect for me. I use it for my studying and home office and it has helped me a great deal thus far. In terms of setting it up; I don't even remember that much b/c it was so easy. I took it out of the box, plugged into the A/C outlet, connected the USB cable it brings to my Dell laptop and that's it. The only thing that I do have to warn though is that the USB cable it brings is very short (approx 3 feet long); so I bought a longer one like 10 feet which is more than enough. Finally, it was great that the cartridge was included b/c that saved me $70.00. And if you think about it, minus the price of the cartridge the printer comes out to a little over $100.00 and you are getting a laser printer as opposed to an inkjet whose ink runs out much faster and the cartridges become more expensive since you have to replace them so much more often.
Ok, that's all. Good luck.
