Panasonic 2-line cordless phone system
We are very pleased with the Panasonic KX-TG6702B cordless phone system. The sound quality is excellent and our ability to roam away from the base station is also very good. It is rich with features and easy to use.

So far, so good
I purchased this product a few weeks ago. I have found Panasonic cordless phones to be quite reliable over the years. So far, this phone is reliable, it keeps it's charge well, and I have no problems with the range of the phone (the base is in my basement & I can use the phone without any problems from our 2nd floor).

Panasonic 2 line cordless
Overall a good phone for the money. Range and sound quality are very good. Only drawback I found is when you receive and incoming call while on the phone you have a second or two interuption in your call on the first ring.

Lousy customer service
I bought my phone in June, 2007. In August, I decided I wanted to move it from one counter to another in my kitchen. To do that, I unplugged it. That apparently fried its little brain. So I had to pack it up and send it to Texas. It was two months before they sent it back. A remanufactured replacement. The adapter for the second handset was bad. Couldn't recharge the battery. I contacted them. Repeatedly. Finally got booted to the supervisor of a supervisor. Was told to fax my receipts. That was in February, 2008. It's now the middle of April. Still no replacement. I was told that they didn't get my fax. I have no way to prove that they did. I'm faxing again.
Seems like a good product. When it worked, it worked just fine. But I don't think I've had more than six weeks of actual working time in the past 10 months that I've owned it.
Panasonic used to be a good company. I wouldn't recommend their products again.

Good dependable unit.
My main concern was wireless range of the product. It's done extremely well. Would have preferred that it had the ability to sync phone books from one phone to the other. It's still relatively new so it's still a work in progress. But for a basic wireless phone (I don't use the on board answering system, though the memo feature has been handy) it fills the need very well.
