Customer Reviews

2 stars Did not work with my VOIP service.
Good :
- Very nice features
- Good looking
- Good voice quality
- Very good speaker phone

Bad :
- It did not work with my VOIP service. Phone did not always ring and I was missing calls.
- Philips claims this phone can be mounted on a wall , but you can't hang it using standard phone outlet. I actually had to make one myself.

Ugly:
- After appx 3 hours using speaker phone, headset had to be recharged. Not for heavy users
- Plastic does not feel like it is durable
- Pricy - considering what's on the market - expensive

Summary:
I bought this phone for looks, and I would have kept it, if it worked with my VOIP. How can anyone make a phone that does not work with VOIP ???

4 stars Review on Phones
These phones are awesome!!! The only thing I wish they had was speaker phone on the base.

4 stars great phone to have
this is my first home phone and im very pleased with it, the lcd is bright, the sim card comes in handy, for a quick way of storing numbers on the phones sound hd is okay though when the volume is up high you can here yourself speaking, i hit that. but all the command this phone have works great.

1 stars do not buy this phone
The worst phone I have had since the 900 MHz days. The handsets run on 2 AAA batteries, so the stand by time is only about 1 day. I got three days from my old Uniden 5.8 GHz, and even more from the Siemens 2.4 GHz I had before that. The menus are cumbersome, 8 button clicks to check the answering machine from the handset; ridiculous. This phone has a lot of good features and DECT6.0 is good technology, but the execution is poor and does not deliver on its promise. After only 6 months I am throwing this one away.

1 stars Panasonic Phones do Everything Better
If you have some marginal 900 mhz phone or an older 2.4 ghz that wasn't made by Panasonic, you might think this is a big improvement over other cordless phones. If you have a Panasonic, don't even think about trying this even if you are excited about DECT technology. The aggravations are as other reviewers have mentioned (annoying flashing light, needless beeping, short battery life, ridiculously complicated buttons for picking up a second incoming call and scrolling through CID, no improvement in range over 5.8 ghz and a frustratingly poor display) and are not offset by any improvement in clarity or lack of interference. After 2 or 3 months of torturing myself and my family, I bought the KX-TG6074 system from Panasonic, which has vastly improved features, including a speaker phone base, a more than rudimentary answering system, and 4 handsets for about the same price. The 5.8 ghz range is at least equal (and seemingly superior to me) and the sound quality of the Panasonic is infinitely better. Also, the soft keys are useful and make sense (one button to access CID or Phone book), and an added talking caller id feature.
