Great home or travel speakers for iPhone 3g
I bought this for my new iPhone 3g, and it works great. The sound is very good, compares well to some of the more expensive speaker sets. The fact that the battery can be charged for travel use is a plus, and the case that it ships with is nice, even has built in space for power adapter and remote. The case is somewhat flexible, so it is easy to turn on the speakers by accident, so be sure to always take your power adapter. The 3g phone works well with these speakers, but you still get the annoying message that it was not designed for the iPhone. However, even the JBL built for iPhone that I bought at the apple store sometimes shows that message too. All in all, this is a great product, and would highly recommend it!

Great sound, good design, not exactly portable...
I am impressed with the sound quality of these speakers and the fact that they included the necessary dock adapters (some speakers require to you purchase these separately.) I found it worked well with my iPhone 3G, with one exception: when you first dock the iPhone, it runs the volume of the RINGER all the way down and then back to the preset volume for the speakers. It's evidentally sending volume down/up signals through the dock connector and because the iPhone isn't playing anything it interprets these as intended to set the RINGER volume! The remote works fairly well, except that the up and down arrows move two positions each way in a list. Makes it impossible to select the one in between. Otherwise, this is a good sounding unit, and I look forward to getting a lot of miles out of it while traveling. One other note: the size is a big larger than one would expect from the pictures. It just BARELY fit in the outside compartment of my carry on bag, because of the LENGTH of the thing: it's 13" long in the case! I may try carrying it outside of the case just to get a little more room in my bag. One last comment: I'm cool with the included AC adapter being necessary to charge the iPod/iPhone, but since I have to carry the AC adapter anyway, why not save the money and weight and lose the built-in lithium battery? I'm just going to unpack it at the hotel and plug it in anyway. And I don't know how much less bass would be present if the "passive radiators" were missing, but it would make for a much "less wide" package if it were only the center dock section and two speakers, one on each side.

Great Little Speakers
I can't say enough good things about this speaker set. It has great sound, but not booming volume. I've packed it along on several motorcycle trips and at the end of the day my friends and I have sat around listing to the ipod. We even get a little kareokee going!
It includes adapters for all ipods, a remote control that works well, a charger that lets you wrap the cord neatly and a nice zipper case that holds it all. The internal batteries hold a good charge, so you can listen to your music for several hours. And the Amazon price could not be matched anywhere. This is one of my favorite "toys".

LOgitech Pure-fi speakers
Speakers work fine and sound pretty good. I don't use them with an ipod, I use them with my Sansa player, but I think they sound fine. The zippered case is a nice bonus as I took them to the beach house. If you decide to buy these speakers, as I did, for a player that's not an ipod, and not going to sit on the compatible cradle, don't forget to get a short input/output cord for it to just plug into it's audio-in port....

great sound for iPod touch
The first system I received was defective and rep from Logitech told me that my iPod touch wouldn't work with this system anyway. Must have been because Logitech has come out with a new system for iPod touch. After several days of research, I decided to give Amazon and this system another try. Customer service at Amazon was great! My 2nd system came the next day. It works great in my classroom with all the music that my preschoolers love and it is all at my fingertips. It has great sound and was just what I was looking for. The remote is small but operates the system well. I'm still waiting on the rebate but the system will be a great value once it returns.
