4 stars Easy to read and use, Not easy to stand upright
I love the ease withwhich I can set the time, set the alarm and view it in the dark, however, it does not stand on its tri leg configuration very easily. I am constantly knocking it over and althought ThaT in itself does not render the alarm inoperable, it does make it difficult to orient and turn off, in the wee hours of the morning upon waking to its nicely sounding alarm.
Its quiet and I would buy it again but the leg thing is annoying.

3 stars nice clock
I ordered this clock for my ten year old daughter. When this first clock came, it didn't work at all. I returned it to Amazon, no problem, and they sent a replacement, which worked fine. It is perhaps a bit less sturdy than I might like, but it has a nightlight, is easy to set, keeps time well, and the alarm is loud. It's perfectly fine for a child.

1 stars didn't work from the start!
Hi everybody,
Though I like the looks of this alarm clock (still do), it hasn't worked reliably from the start. I kept putting in new (brand name) batteries, but that doesn't help. The clock keeps stopping, e.g., when the clock gets moved slightly (picked up to operate the light, for example). Obviously, I end up not using it because I don't feel like I can rely on it - kind of the opposite what you need in an alarm clock! I'd like to return it, but I won't because of the hassle... so, at least I want to warn potential buyers that this was NOT a good purchase! In fact, a waste of money. I strongly recommend *not* to buy this alarm clock.

3 stars jaunty little timepiece
Has the polished bronze look of certain coffin handles. The only thing I don't like about this nifty little clock is that if you balance it on a pair of paperbacks with glossy covers and place it on your night table, you can hear it ticking. Also, the feature where you press a little button on top and illuminate the dial in the middle of the night, the little flash of light that appears is kind of like the blast of light that occurs in "Wicked" when the green witch disappears from the page.

4 stars Cute little clock
This clock has an antique look that will go with any decor in your home. The only problem I have with this clock is that you have to hit the button on top for the back light to come on so you can see the time. Kind of a pain when you have no idea what time it is since you have to find the button on the top in the dark to see what it reads. By then you have woken up from the frustration of it all since you have to play hide and seek with the button. Okay...so maybe it's just me. The alarm is good and gets louder the longer you let it ring. It will wake you up unless you can sleep through just about anything.
