Customer Reviews
Good Product------- when it was current technology
HP makes a solid product, but the $250+ asking price for a used computer that has standard components/specs that are 5+ years old is outrageous. The company I worked for used this model back in 2003, same 2.8Ghz processor, 40GB Hard Drive and 512MB ram. Most companies were leasing these for about $25 per month for 3 years (so do the math 36*25=$900). I would spend the extra money and get an low end entry level desktop + upgraded monitor for about $125 more.
A side note, yes you can upgrade the memory, and hard drive in it but, why would you want to. Because these machines are old, memory for them is very expensive, so if just want to take this thing to 1GB of RAM, the computer + RAM will probably take you close to the $400MB mark as far as price goes.
