Dokken and George Lynch's best
I'm a big fan of George Lynch and have most of his releases from Breaking the Chains through the Pilson album, Play For Food, Lynch Mobs, etc. and Dokken's Tooth And Nail is by far the best album he's ever done. It's also Don Dokken's best effort to date, and his vocals and writing both shine on this release. Tooth and Nail transcends any genre, defies classification, and is simply an awesome collection of hard rock music. Needless to say Lynch's guitar playing is mindblowing throughout. This album is why George Lynch is on the same level as Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, and other guitar heroes. Standout tracks: Tooth and Nail, Just Got Lucky, Don't Close Your Eyes, Into The Fire, Alone Again, Turn on the Action.

Had to have it- searched from an unnamed Cassette
First heard this music on a cassette found in a player I bought in a flea
market.I was so excited at the vitality of these songs, I did a search on
"heartless heart", and "tooth and Nail", and found it here.
Never heard of Dokken, and thought the group was AC-DC, or Van Halen. I guess I've been away from hard rock for awhile. Well, can't wait to get the cd, as the tape was poorly equalized, and I can't play it in my laptop! If you like AC-DC, the vocals in this band are so similar, and the guitar riffs are van halen. Maybe they're related!

Dokken - Tooth and Nail CD
Awesome...a must have to any metal collection. These songs shape the generation of 80's metal. Don is one of the best singers ever recorded and George absolutely lights up the guitar. This CD breaks in to new territory that is still unmatched in classic heavy metal sound. JP

Dokken's best album
This is Dokken's best album ever. Tooth And Nail, When Heaven Comes Down, Turn On The Action, Into The Fire, Just Got Lucky and Don't Close Your Eyes are all classics. The album had 3 huge hits and some of the best lead guitar work ever. Don's vocals and lyrics are excellent and the rythym section is tight and both Mick brown and Jeff Pilson contribute excellent backing vocals. this album is much more mature and heavier than Breaking The Chains and was Dokken's first really popular album. If you like melodic music, heavy music, hair metal, great vocals or virtuoso guitar playing than get this album.
