Customer Reviews
an odd mix of songs
As with some other reviewers, I see inconsistency with this "Monsters" series of CD's. Personally, I like some of the softer songs on this disk and that's why I bought it (heat of the moment, died in your arms). I really like 'the warrior' as well, and I think most would categorize that one as a hard rock song. When you take a hard look at this series of "Monster" CD's you gotta wonder what "Monster" even refers to. Is it the sales volume? the hard rock sound? what? What makes something "monster" rock? It really seems that they just put their favorites on some CD's and labeled them "monster" because it sounds cool! The problem is that there is no real theme here, particularly with volume 2.

Monsters of Rock Volume 2
Great album. Brings back the lightness of 80's rock and roll before grunge rock.

I love this kinda music"!
Searching on Internet I found what I like most. 80's hard rock, recently I began collecting a number of songs of that time, i have gotten so far music of LA Gns, The Outfield, etc.. I couldn't believe that I had them. When listening them, ny thoughts travel back in the time...To be honest the best music ever created was this...it can easily beat that modern pop music....

More great Hits on one CD
A great followup to the origonal.
I am person who has likes multiple music geners of the 80s, hair bands as much as the pop\dance genres. I truely enjoyed this CD, maybe a bit more then the first. IT is less hard edged of the Hair band genre like others mentioned, but still worth the $.

What?
Ya just don't know what a letdown this is after Vol. 1. Some of the songs on here aren't even rock. The second half gets a lot better, but it still is a real letdown after the glorious metal on the first and third volumes. Asia is not metal. They are hardly rock. I don't understand what they are doing here. The songs by Danger Danger and Enuff Z'Nuff are great and so is Aldo Nova's bone-crunching Fantasy, but some of the stuff on here is for pop fans. No I'm not kiddin'.
