The single, "Shook me all night long," was what got me hooked on AC/DC. The groove, the sound, even the odd-ball vocals had me paying attention.

This album is hands down a rival for their best work. It's energetic, entertaining, and sounds good at any volume. Sure, it's "meat and potatoes" rock, but it doesn't need anything fancy.

Los rumores apuntan a que Bon Scott dejó escritas las canciones de este disco antes de morir ahogado en su propio vómito tras una fuerte borrachera. Parecía imposible superar "Higway to hell", pero "Back in black" es la cima no sólo de la banda, sino de todo un género músical: el heavy metal nunca volverá a significar lo mismo que en la década de los ochenta. This is the first album with new lead singer Brian Johnso. He is way more amazing than Bon. no offense Bon, but when brian came in, AC/DC became rock stars. Back in Black is on the top 5 best selling cds in america and world-wide. They released three singles on this record. Hells Bells, Back in Black and You shook me all night long. My personal favorite is Shoot To Thrill and Given The Dog A Bone. Most critics critisize it for being but a sex album. Which is true, like You shook me all night long, What do you do For money honey, Let Me Put My Love Into You. This is the album that made me listen to more older music. When I played this and the first track Hells Bells, the sound was so freakin amazing

Kids Love It
My kids heard the song "back in black" when they watched the movie "Iron Man" and they asked me whose song it was. This was my chance to introduce them to classic rock so I bought them this CD. They love it. Now they want to borrow the rest of my CD's.
