1 stars quite disapointed
first of all i'm not going to be overly critical of the band. they are good at what they do. i'm just not a fan of the "NEW METAL" genre. i want
it to just rip not change speed and melody every thirty seconds in every freaking song. when these guys rip they do rip, but. i think you know the rest. the reason i purchased this was amazon recomended it when i purchased the new Terror. a mistake i will not make again.

5 stars Best CD ever.
Best CD on the face of the earth if you like deep, dark metal with awesome vocals.

1 stars Why the hell isn't there a zero rating!
First, I would like to thank the two guys above me for having the brains and sense to call this garbage what it is, VAPID! There is no less perfect word for this.

Any of the brain-dead five star reviews for this album will tell you how bad it is. O! metal the way metal should be done, headbanging YEAH!, tough stuff and stuff. All while failing to extol any qualities of the music that distinguish it as good.

Know why? Because there aren't any! My friend played this for me and from song to song I felt myself more pent up (I didn't want to spoil this for him, he really liked it) with rage, disgust, and irritation as I felt everything intelligent I had ever thought being sucked from my mind to fill the vacuous space created by the stupidity of this music and that man's god awful melodramtic bellow.

Let me make something clear! Double-bass (especially bad double bass) and screaming (especially wimpy limp-dicked screaming) DO NOT! make you metal. Not to mention the shamefully stupid, whinny, pseudo-tough-guy lyrics that make even Fred Durst laugh at their reflected fakeness.

This all equals an underwhelming experience gazing baffled at a monolith of dumb erected by a bunch of pussies who wouldn't know real hardship if it shook them by the hair and is meant for and appreciated by those of that very ilk. This is not metal! You want metal? BUY DEATH - INDIVIDUAL THOUGHT PATTERNS RIGHT NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE AND YOU'RE LOST TO THIS MIND-NUMBING FAGGOTRY FOREVER!

5 stars Like the next Pantera
This band rocks, I've been waiting for a band like this to come out for a long time and reclaim metal. I hope they come to my town for a concert.

1 stars Simply wretched, stupid and vapid.
I tried. And I mean I really, REALLY tried. I listen to every new disc I get at least ten or twelve times, all the way through, over the course of a month or more... just letting it sink in, digesting it in different environments and moods, forming an opinion of the overall and picking out highlights.

It's been three weeks and six times all the way through, and this is still one of the DUMBEST discs I have ever listened to. Period. Lyrics for the emotionally retarded and angst ridden poser/tough guys. I couldn't even begin to tell you about the music because the pseudo tough guy wannabe hardcore vocals and the mind numbingly stupid and infantile lyrics just smack you in the face. A limp wristed smack, at that.

Oh yeah... there was an (almost) ripping little solo in track seven (I think it was seven, anyway) that wasn't all that bad.

The stupidity of this album is offensive, and I don't recommend it to anyone who is (emotionally) over the age of nine.
